NYMag: Logan Paul Posts Suicide Video
Few other people already mentioned this in MSB, just grabbed a random websites link/article to give some background. Paul was laughing while filming a dead body in Japan's suicide forest.
Guy is an absolute worm.

Over the weekend, the YouTube star Logan Paul (older brother of Jake Paul) visited Aokigahara, a forest on the slopes of Mt. Fuji in Japan also known as the “suicide forest” for its status as a site of hundreds of suicides. While there, Paul seems to have filmed the body of a person who had hanged himself from a tree, and then posted the footage to YouTube with the title “We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest…” (Note: the video contains footage of a dead body.)
“This is not clickbait. This is the most real vlog I’ve ever posted to this channel,” Paul says in an intro to the video. “I think this definitely marks a moment in YouTube history because I’m pretty sure this has never hopefully happened to anyone on YouTube ever,” he continues as minor key piano music plays. “Now with that said: buckle the frick up, because you’re never gonna see a video like this again!”
The 15 minute video is largely indistinguishable from the rest of Paul’s YouTube uploads, and was intended to be Part Three of his “Tokyo Adventures.” He makes joke about Mt. Fuji not being where Fiji water comes from. He mugs for the camera. He wears some funny hats.
And then he and his entourage discover a what looks like a body hanging in the Aokigahara. “Yo, are you alive?” calls out Paul. “Are you fricking with us?”
“Suicide is not a joke,” continues Paul. “Depression and mental illness are not a joke. We came here with an intent to focus on the ‘haunted’ aspect of the forest. This obviously just became very real, and obviously a lotta people are going through a lotta shite in their lives

Did you know the McCallisters were going to France?

Doesn't everybody hate his younger brother Jake? I don't know who either are, but my younger cousins were shitting on Jake Paul during Christmas last week.

YouTube star AKA no talent douchebag loser.

Does Milo Yiannopoulos have a twin brother?

That obnoxiously self- conscious narcissism thing is a real bore . Every one of these douche canoes is focused on being ironic or glib with not a single thought about any kind of wisdom. And it has nothing to do with Japan or Japanese culture and everything to do with how an American attention whore reacts to things he doesn’t even begin to have the depth to understand.

Agreed he and his brother seem like huge douchebags.

Too bad the video wasn’t of him hanging himself.

No idea who either of these people are

As a finance guy, why don't you figure out a way to take advantage of idiots with money like him?

Strangely, I recently learned about “YouTube stars” like PewDiePie and I am fascinated that these people have such huge followings. There are teenagers with millions of subscribers and they do nothing more than film their daily life around town and occasionally do stupid shite that is sometimes funny. Yet, they make millions each year....
It makes me question my life choices when people that may not even be done with high school are making seven figures.

Its crazy, but you got to think when videos are getting millions and millions of views.
Doug demuro had almost 200,000,000 views in 2017, and he's not even on the same planet as a lot of other YouTube "stars"
Also, most of these YouTube guys work their asses off. Usually its a pretty small production and for 20 minute video there was probably a couple of days worth of work put into every one of them. And when the most popular channels are putting out 4+ videos per week the days and hours of work that goes into it puts any 9-5 job to shame in terms of workload.
That being said frick the paul brothers. Yuge douchebags.

Sorry that I have to be the one to do this but making jokes like this is just as bad for the issue as what Logan Paul did. Spend some time talking to people on a suicide hotline, and I guarantee you'd think differently about making a suicide joke.

How has no one commented on the fact that Japan has a "suicide forest"

Pretty sure they aren’t proud of the fact that it’s known for Suicide and actually try to talk people out of it who show up to the park for this reason.
I looked up the vid because I’m a sick individual and it was creepy. Dude just hanging there. I didn’t have the volume on, dude looked like a tool. But I would have shite my pants had I come across that.
