Nash Roberts was the Man in New Orleans when I was a kid. Then I guess Bob Breck. Now I live in Baton Rouge and we have Pat Shingleton and Jay Grimes. Revolving door of younger kids under those two.

I would imagine that's a problem with station management/ownership.
In NOLA, Carl has been on WWL forever. Margaret Orr has been on WDSU forever, and Dan Milham was there forever before she was promoted. Bob Breck was at Fox8 forever... only recently retired and it seems like David Bernard isn't going to go anywhere. No one watches ABC26 so who knows.
When we were in Houston... it was Dr Neil Frank who was there probably at least 25 years and had a hell of a path, Frank Billingsly who I think is still there, and Tim Heller who has been there forever.

Neil Frank was head of the National Hurricane Center before going to H town. Heller was the chief at Fox 4 in Dallas.
