I watched the games today while I was at home but I stopped watching the NFL every weekend years ago

when I don't watch it I don't miss it but in the days of COVID and stroke recovery I'm just sitting around the house so I watch a lot of things that aren't important

simple truth since the Oilers left town I don't have a rooting interest and the game has gotten worse for watching with all the rule changes I'd rather be be outside working or playing we're getting chores done so I can enjoy college football on Saturday

Point of sports is a diversion from the hustle of normal day. Infusing sports with societal issues defeats the purpose of escape.
