Imagine being a radio disc jockey before 2000 and you had female callers calling you with request's in the days before Facebook and the internet. Then when they really got into you they would write the station and she sent you a head shot of herself. Then when the writing got heavy and the calls were not enough, you decided to meet. Now you see that she is some fat whale that missed her calling to play football.
