Disease or no, any student who were even potentially given these tainted baked goods have been victimized. Can you imagine how those kids feel right now thinking they may have been violated that way?

I seriously hope this isn’t true but there is either video or there isn’t. If there’s no proof of this incident, the sooner that’s announced to the parents and public the better.

It may well have been only a certain class. Remember Westside is a junior high where students change classes every hour. She probably taught 4+ different classes throughout the day.

One of my kids currently goes to an elementary school in LP and they absolutely do not eat any snacks that aren't pre-packaged/individually wrapped. Even from the teachers I believe. They are very strict.

I thought that was some kind of statewide rule and apparently it only varies by school?

He could be charged with malfeasance in office right now for sweeping the 2014 incident under the rug. If you watch the video of his presser last week you can see how aggressively he makes it appear that the BRPD Lt. is to blame because he didn't want to file an official report. That's great when he's coming to you about his neighbor backing into his car parked across the street. Unfortunately for Ard, the incident was a deputy getting into bed with underaged females. At the very LEAST, ard should have had an interview of Perkins, with another supervisor present, recorded and filed the entire thing in Perkins' personnel jacket. The first thing you learn when you become a law enforcement officer is the acronym CYA and how powerful it is. Believe it or not, the 2nd thing is "If you dont write it down, it didn't happen", which is actually a thing when it comes to your police reports. Unfortunately for Ard, he used it at the worst time anyone in the history of law enforcement and press conferences could use it. I truly believe this case will garner national attention as the details unfold. His presser will be played a million times in documentaries and news programs about this. I don't see him getting through this and having the ability to lead like a Sheriff should. The confidence people had in him is erroding at an alarming rate. Anyone who has ever been terminated, written up or demoted by this guy should all get together and file a lawsuit against him for bias. He made their case for them on TV last week. Easy target now and in the future.
