State AG is getting this case and they likely get a change of venue from LP if it goes to trial.
With her being a teacher and him being a sheriff deputy, I think they can safely claim the jury pool there is tainted by the notoriety of the crime.

I thought there is no way this case can be heard in LP, but at this point nothing would surprise me coming out of that parish.
As we learned from Sheriff Ard, if you don’t write it down, no crime occurred. I hope they remember to write this down!

It seems minuscule in comparison to what else has been going on, but it shows at least a willingness on the part of the Sheriff to overlook abuses by his department and allow for the misuse of tax payer dollars.

That's why I'm glad Nak actually asked the question that nobody was. For the Sheriff's dept to say they didn't know about it is typical and expected but we all know they not only knew about it but encouraged it for certain members of the Dept.

have to believe if Perkins has videos of others from LP as well they all have to know it. Seems like Perkins has been escalating his behavior for quite some time, uploading videos to a kiddie porn site, I can't imagine this escalation in deviancy was going un-noticed by his peers.
Texts between Perkins and Ard, Perkins and his wife, etc to go with the computer evidence and the videos will lay out all of the timelines and allow investigators to look for participation from others.
