I do teach my son how to go the right way through life because like you said, you can’t control what other people do.

I simply don’t understand getting triggered by a word. As a Louisianan, are you offended when people call you a coonass? What about redneck? Are white people angry when called a cracker? Even when these terms are used as a derogatory slur by the speaker, they have no effect on me. I identify with some of the qualities associated with all of those terms. The simple fact that you can type coonass, redneck, and cracker on here and people think they have to use all types of symbols to type n!**@r is ridiculous. Words have only the power that you give them.

Funny how the dad don't want anyone to use the negro, n*gga, etc, yet he is throwing them words out to the media. People love being able to use the negor word. Why don't blacks start protesting rapsters from using? We can't have anyone saying a word, right? Bunch of pussies.

Something about this story doesn’t add up.
First, it sounds like the driver didn’t actually use the word?
It looks like maybe two kids were arguing, one drips the n-word, and the bus driver asked the one called the n-word something about it??? It seems to me that’s the kind of question you ask someone who talks like that ... “hey, how would you like to be called that?” But the news makes it sound like the driver asked the wrong person.
Something is fishy here.
I’ll reserve judgment until the ENTIRE video is made public.

A poor excuse is better than none, I guess. Your using that tired, worn-out line of reasoning makes you look like you still have some evolving to do.
The use of the word is either right or wrong. No matter who uses it.
Now, instead of teaching your boy only about SJW bullshite, teach him a STEM curriculum. I am guessing you didn't start early on this and will have to catch up. STEM leads to money, and money means he doesn't need to hang out with ghetto trash.

Having the expectations that any Livingston bus driver will have the requisite level of sophistication to use the English language properly concerning racial issues with children is asking WAY too much. If they can keep the bus on the road, consider it a victory. Seriously.
