i’ll never fly southwest again if they do this

As a frequent flyer, I would prefer that they make the flights quieter for passengers...not louder.

Hell no. I already avoid Southwest because I hate their boarding process, but I will fly them if they are much cheaper or if they are the only airline that has a schedule I like.
If they add live music, I will never fly them again.

If that happened on one of my flights (assuming I wasn't aware beforehand), I would be pissed.
Who the hell would want music involuntary blared into their ears while trapped in a metal tube 35,000 feet in sky?
Some of these excerpts from the article made me lol.
I've literally never even heard of this until I read this thread.
A capacity crowd? On an airplane? Talk about embellishing

Launched as a curiosity in 2011, the Live at 35 series has only grown in popularity over the past six years, as Southwest passengers hope that their flight will be one of the lucky ones to feature a sure-to-go-viral performance.

I usually have my pilot play soft jazz throughout the cabin.

hell no.
all i want to do is sit next to a non-talker, the window, put on my headphones, and listen to a podcast or watch something I've downloaded on Netflix.
I don't even look up for the beverage cart. Leave my arse alone and let's get this flight over with.

With a conspicuous and inflecting tone?

Hell no!! And Southwest crams passengers in like cattle, how the hell can they squeeze a band in too?
Posted on 11/1/17 at 9:41 am to Lou
if they want to provide free headphones you can plug in to select any music "you" want to hear, and this music cant be played loud (no jamming out) so i dont hear your music when sitting next to you, then i am ok with that
if "they" decide the music and its played over the whole plane forcing you to listen to it then hell no

Not even live music is getting through my noise cancelling head phones that are playing music I actually enjoy.
I guess I could feel the vibrations though.

I only fly Southwest when I can, but this would definitely change things. Most of my return flights involve my being hungover and attempting not to throw up, and I would not enjoy this at all.

frick. THAT.
i can only imagine the faux-country pop crap they would play. let me stew in silence cursing the airline and my tiny seat until i arrive at my destination.

I am priority boarder for Southwest, choose first aisle seat that has full sized overhead bins, put on headphones immediately, make a-hole face if a fat person is examining my middle seat, and make a happy approachable face if a tiny person or hot chick is examining it.
And I get free drink tickets in the mail all the time so I definitely engage the drink cart

What a bunch of grumps. I love live music. As long as its a flight that's less than two hours I'd be down for this.
