I'm more worried about people keeping their shoes on during the flight and not smelling like arse than music on a SW flight

Even if you're not a priority boarder, its worth every penny to upgrade. The disparity of nastiness of passengers at the front and back of Southwest planes is mind blowing.

Figured this is originating in Nashville. Can't even get a bite to eat in that dumpy airport without them blaring live music in every restaurant while begging for tips. Gibsons in there is the worst.

That’s better than Air Asia’s Moan Game.

I am priority boarder for Southwest, choose first aisle seat that has full sized overhead bins, put on headphones immediately, make a-hole face if a fat person is examining my middle seat

I've found that a sudden cough attack send the undesirables down the aisle further as well.

If they add this I'm all in.

Launched as a curiosity in 2011, the Live at 35 series has only grown in popularity over the past six years, as Southwest passengers hope that their flight will be one of the lucky ones to feature a sure-to-go-viral performance.

God that statement just makes me want to jump off of the planet. Wow...I hope I am soooooooo lucky that my flight has one of these events. It has been my lifelong dream to be part of something that is "sure to go viral". fricktards.

Southwest Airlines is run by a bunch of 9 year olds. And as for the flight attendants who take the boarding process and pre-flight time and use it as their personal audition for a career in stand-up comedy: how about you STFU. You aren't funny. I am not on the plane to hear your bad comedy. Tell me where the exit doors are, give me my peanuts and 4 ounce soft drink, and shut the hell up. Thanks in advance.

I was on a flight where the national choir started singing and it was cool for 15 seconds, then annoying as frick. Something about dudes in sweater vests singing in harmony on a 747 isn't masculine.

For a while southwest was offering free in-flight music via a wireless device such as your phone. I enjoyed that. It's all I need.

Sad thing is it will probably be mostly terrible singer-songwriters who have the ability to slow the passage of time with their terrible, "deep" lyrics. If I have 24hrs to live, I'm hiring a coffee shop troubadour to follow me around playing so I at least have several months left.
