Where there's one, there's always a second.

We live just outside the city limits in South LC where this stuff doesn't happen.
It may happen less in different places, but this happens everywhere.

Looks like the plumber showed up about 12 hrs late in an altered mindset.
In all seriousness, glad you are safe and nothing was taken.

I feel its safe to say we have determined the proper response is NOT to grab your shotguns and jump in the pick up truck and chase the suspect down and shoot him dead in the street.
Good luck with option B

A lot of that happened in NOLA after Katrina.

I had no idea how many subhumans live in LC until they were staying in hotels in the CBD after the hurricane.

He looks like he’s looking to apply for a job.
What would you say if I had hired a man wearing no shirt?
He must have been wearing really nice pants.

After Katrina, I delivered a 1 ton pickup load of drywall to building my wife owned in NOLA. After leaving 3 unmarked cop cars (not close to late model) cops stopped me with sidearms in their hands and wanted to know what I was doing in the house/apartments. No flashing lights, one blocked me in front, another the rear and the 3rd alongside. Yes, the showed their badges.
I was damned glad they are on the job and it didn't bother me in the least. I felt a lot safer knowing they were doing their job.
