The problem with this case is that women are trying to bring up legitimate issues but using the absolute worst case in the world to do it.

I think that's true, but only to an extent.

Postpartum shite is real and pretty scary. But it also doesn't give you carte blanche to murder your children (or anybody else). I am all for women getting more access to PPD/PPP assistance after birth because that is important as frick. But the women on social media with this case have passed beyond logic and reason. Like I said above, they have gone so far beyond championing for postpartum care to actually accusing the husband of murdering his children and setting up his wife as the culprit, when even her defense team states the silliness of that. And on top of all of that, it's also now become the new "in" thing on social media to pretend to care about for attention. All of the idiots raising fists (is that cultural appropriation? ) in cemeteries and shite like that with that dumbass song playing in the background or the ones dressing up in pink with signs and "protesting" are doing it PURELY for social media attention. And if social media didn't exist, most of this murderer's "support" would disappear like a fart in the wind.

That's what most of this shite is IMO. Hell, I'd even argue that upwards of 75% of the "support" is nothing more than social media clout gathering.

Yes because they truly believe that Patrick either did it or it was his fault anyway

This is something I have observed over the last several years. Even when a woman makes a decision that causes harm, there is a chorus that erupts to explain that it's a man's fault regardless. Feminist society wants full female agency, but they want a man to blame when a woman's actions lead to ruin. Even though men can't tell women what to do, the fact that no man told her not to do The Thing is still his fault.

In short, many women are roundabout arguing for the benefits of patriarchal society without allowing the mechanisms that enable it to exist.

When abortion has been so normalized with these women and some don’t bat an eye at full term abortion, killing a couple kids is just the next small logical jump.

Decades of conditioning has desensitized many women that actual killing is taking place.

These same women would be clamoring for the death penalty if the husband had come home, seen what she did, and killed the wife.

I've seen just as many anti-abortion women on my feed support Lindsay as liberal women. You'd have a point if this wasn't true.

I said this in the last thread:
quote:

You don’t have to provide this prerequisite statement. Doing so just lets the psychos know that their screaming and crying and faux “empathy” is working.
Starting off every single argument with PPD is real, blah blah blah… only gives some validity to their stance. It shouldn’t be mentioned at all. They brought it in to the argument to give themselves something to stand on. Don’t even acknowledge it.

The ole "If women ruled the world, there'd be no war.........oh, but I can't be held accountable for anything I do, including strangling my own kids because of my hormones and emotions."

I could be completely off here, but I think she wanted to commit suicide to ease her pain and selfishly didn't want the husband to have the kids and it was her last f u to hurt him. Total tragedy that has no rational explanation

As much as it annoys me to agree with SFP here, he's spot on. This Clancy support thing crosses political boundaries.

The women I know personally I mentioned in my previous post? All very conservative, and all very religious.

The overwhelming sentiment from the pro-choice crowd was that abortion was evil, but a necessary evil. Nowadays, the pro-choice crowd paints it as some sort of virtuous life decision.

Women maintain an in-group preference in ways that men cannot understand, and have been largely trained out of.

Showing empathy and making sure you know they’re showing empathy is the primary goal of all of these women. It’s priority 1 when another woman “needs defending” when she uses womanhood as her defense.

I think this is where I am at, too.

In addition to the PPD/Mental Health issues, there is a strong theme of women talking about abusive relationships, b/c there are a lot of signs Patrick wasn't the nicest husband, to put it mildly. Combining all three seems to logically lead to that explanation of how the tragedy unfolded.

The social media and tiktok comments are filled with the usual useless white women, manhating because "post partum" as if that makes it ok to strangle your children with an exercise band. They want so badly for it to be the husband's fault. Why? Because he rather quickly jumped into a new relationship? Maybe he wanted something to take his mind off of finding his 3 babies brutally murdered by his wife?

Yeah they'd probably do some mental gymnastics to somehow blame the husband.

That's exactly what they are doing.

Any good defense could make any man seem like the devil to the eyes of other women. The evidence of him staying home to work to help, being there for the kids, and ffs he was running errands for her by getting them meds and food… he’s a better husband than 90% of them out there.

Because women in the western world have been programmed to believe nothing they do is ever their fault. The same can be seen with other groups as well.

I know it's not your intention, but this comment right here gives women credence to defend infanticide. Yes, there are some shitty husbands out there, but there are also some shitty wives as well. It's not a 1 way street. And i'd bet more than 10% are better husbands than this dude. Don't give feminism an inch or they will take a mile.
