They don’t know what they’re missing. I was a lifeguard at a water park in high school. Easiest job I ever had, plus young, quality poon without limit and a great summer-long tan done by the first week.

one could make the assumption that due to Blue Bayou not opening this year that we would have a surplus of unemployed life guards in our area

To be fair I think it was misinterpreted. It was criticizing the ability of AI to correctly analyze faces. But I can see how it was taken differently.
