My dick isn’t small enough to drive a big truck. I like my sedan. They just need to start being more innovative to attract buyers. Tesla is not having a problem selling sedans.

Especially when all the SUVS and crossovers are turning super curvy. There’s barely one I like the design of anymore.

There’s more to vehicles than stats, and until people remember that they used to love driving...this is what we get. Linearity of power and steering and braking, forces and feedback that you could count on.
First it was automatics, then it was turbos, then electronic steering and braking...all incremental trade-offs, now what is it? The car may as well drive itself.

I love the OT. I get a lot of valuable information here but when it comes to cars and guns most of you motherfrickers don't know what the frick you are talking about. I digress.

Cars and guns should both be German, I know that much.

3 pages and no car pics just goes to show you how ugly these overpriced Toyotas are.

Trucks have their use, but fuel economy still isn't great, they're a pain to park, and they're not as comfortable.
Now this is just silly. The suburban is just a half ton Silverado with sides. Same for the Yukon and Sierra. Half ton trucks ride like a dream and I get 21-24 MPG (hwy) out of my truck.
If you can park a suburban, you can park a truck. It’s not as easy as parking a Camry on Esplanade, but it’s not difficult.
3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are a different beast altogether. They’re luxury vehicles on the inside, but their purpose is completely different.

The purpose is EXACTLY the same or they would have never made them cost $60k and replete with leather everywhere. You’re the same as the soccer mom with a 4Runner. Exactly. You think your vehicle implies that you are rugged and spontaneous, and may just go off-road for the frick of it. Nice running boards.

Toyotas are the ugliest cars on the road.

Crossovers offer car like ride quality, car like mpg, and have more room.
Trucks became roomy with the crew cab and now are just as luxurious with interiors.
The question is why would you buy a sedan?
My question is, why would you not buy a sedan??
I own 11 vehicles- 2 SUV's, 2 coupes and 7 sedans.
The 2 coupes speak for themselves, they are true sports cars.
The SUV's are more for service- they are nice for carrying things like yard supplies and such, but for any length of time behind the wheel, especially stop & go, they become uncomfortable for me and my wife hates that they don't 'react' as fast as a sedan (or coupe for the matter).
All that changes with a sports sedan! Now I am not talking your average Hyundai econobox, but even then, car handling has improved. But when I get behind the wheel of one of my sedans, I can out-handle any truck/suv, not to mention the feeling of security/safety at high speeds due to being lower to the ground, and stopping ability, if needed. Need I mention gas mileage as well?
But again, for me there is no comparison, sedans are the way to go!

The GS F is a fine looking car. But it’s that awkward size sports sedan that no one really wants. Not for 80k

Well this kills my hopes for an IS-F to replace my IS FSport

Can't disagree with that! And that front end of the Lexus vehicles reminds me of the face from the creatures on 'Predator'!!
I still don't understand all the love for Toyota vehicles, they have issues just like every other manufacturer, although people try to swear by them, as if they don't have mechanical problems, which is bull. I have owned mostly Italian, German and Swedish cars in my lifetime. I always tell people there is a difference between European and Japanese cars, but I am usually met with resistance. Then after they drive with me or if I let them drive one of my cars, they usually immediately realize, "Wow! These cars are different and more special!". I wish people would be more open about other car manufacturers, you might be surprised they are better than the garden variety Toyota, Honda or Nissan...

Thats why I love mine.
My IS is the best car ive ever owned. The service at my Lexus dealership treats you like a Oil Tycoon.

I think this was in the cards regardless of the economy. They added the F Sport option to the ES 350 recently. Seemed like they were always leaning towards this consolidation effort.
