Are you black?
There was some stuff you could get but could only find in the black hair products section or at a black barbershop. I just googled pictures and could not find it, but I did find this. Maybe they don't make it anymore as the packaging looked like it had last been updated in the 1960's.

You put aftershave on your balls?
Seems like that would sting a bit.

I look like Brett Favre if I don't shave.
People think I'm in my late 20s if I do shave.

hot water on face before shave. Better yet, shave in a hot shower
cold water after.
change your razor frequently and get some good shaving cream

Real men have a beard.

Lester gets it. Hot water or hot towel opens the pores and softens your skin for a smoother shave. Ice cold water rinse right after will cause the pores to contract lessening the risk of razor burn or bumps. The only thing I do differently is immediately apply Nivea aftershave balm for sensitive skin. Stay away from any aftershave with alcohol, it will burn your pores and cause bumps.

I hate people that base their personality around their beard.

I made the switch to a safety razor a few years ago and have been happy with the results (once I learned how to not cut myself).

Same. Barbasol, Gillette razor, hot water. No issues

This. DE razor shaving has been mentioned. You don’t have to go that far, but there is a whole world of shaving creams that are much better that a can of anything. Try some sandalwood or bay rum. If your face turns red stay away from anything “refreshing” or “cooling”. Eucalyptus will light you up.

I shave my head every morning in the shower. I do the same thing with my face on the off times I don’t have a beard. The hot shower makes a big difference.

I haven't shaved since about 2005
I just trim it with clippers with no guard when it gets a little bit long.

1. Shower in warm water and keep face under water for a bit. It softens the area.
2. Trim as close as possible. This is very easy no reason to struggle
3. Use good shaving cream for sensitive skin. Let it rest for a few minutes to soften area even more.
4. Shave.
I had issues forever shaving. I still cut my jaw because I have a very strong jawline and when I don't have a perfectly Smoove motion the blade will catch and cut. Same on my chin. Really annoying shite.

I have even used my filet knife and Evinrude two cycle oil when I was at the camp.

I get my best shaves using a shaving gel and an old fashioned razor that uses one quality double edge blade.
I use a very hot towel to pre-soften the beard a bit just like a good barbershop shave, apply the shaving gel and get to shaving.
Over the years I've used Bics, multiple blade shavers, a couple electric razors (the absolute worst shaves by the way) and a good straight razor (the absolute best shave) but not for everyone.
