My thing is this....there are certain things that are age appropriate for kids and certain things that are not. For example, would you tell your kids about the birds and the bees at age 6? No, because that is too much for them to process at that age. Would you try to explain to your 6 year old the difference between capitalism and communism? No, because again, that is too much for their young brains to process. So trying to brainwash these kids with all this "Mx", and he/she/it/their crap is ridiculous. How do you expect a 6 year old to process all of this without it totally confusing their little minds? This is an example of one a-hole teacher trying to push her views on everyone in her path.

I agree. I may even be inclined to respect/understand the gender stuff if they went about it in a better way. Why not focus on the fact that we are all humans/people? If you wanna buy your kids toys from both aisles, great. Doesn't matter to me. I grew up with a brother who had no issue playing Barbies with me, and I played in the dirt/dump trucks with him.

But the pronouns .. I just don't get it. There has to be a term for a person with a vagina and a term for a person with a penis. You can't just pretend that doesn't exist. If you want to squash the stereotypes (girls like pink and dolls, boys like blue and racecars), fine by me. Hell, if you want me to use female pronouns and you were born a male, I'll do it for you. But teaching children to do it to everyone is ridiculous.

Dear Mx. Bressack,
If you don't know or acknowledge your gender then you are not qualified to teach my child. My husband is a male and I'm his wife and I'm a female and you are a fricking idiot.

So.

The principal says that they, it, whatever is fully supported and then proceeds to call they, it, whatever "she" and "her" multiple times.

I would send the teacher an email conceding that I don’t care if it thinks it’s a man or a woman. However, it needs to pick one. Once it has decided wether it would like everyone in my family to pretend it does or does not have a penis/vagina, I will gladly work with my child on addressing it as “sir” or “ma’am.” If it is legitimately a hermaphrodite, then I will allow my child to address it as Mx. with a signed letter from its primary care physician.

I’d have a sit down with the principal or the school board and demand a new teacher or new school. Not letting that kind of shite get indoctrinated into my kids at school
