Update

Looks like the letter didn't sit well with the superintendent.

quote:

Principal Paul Lambert--

A letter was recently sent home to parents from our new fifth grade math and science teacher, Chloe Bressack. There has been a lot of confusion about this letter, but as the principal of Canopy Oaks I can assure you that students throughout our school are greeted and responded to in the same way no matter which class they are in.

Great instruction is taking place, the students are being treated respectfully and appropriately, and the class—like all classes—is continually monitored and assessed. The number one priority for us is the well-being and success of our students and teachers. We are available to speak with parents to address any concerns or questions they may have.

Teacher Chloe Bressack--

Teacher Bressack has respectfully declined any media interviews at this time but has released the following statement: “I apologize for any confusion this letter may have caused. My practice in addressing my students is to refer to them by their personal pronouns, be they “he, she, or they.” We work together to create a positive environment of respect and understanding. I understand that students will not always address me in the way I prefer, and that is okay. We keep moving with a smile and continue on with our learning. In our classroom, our learning and our well-being is the priority. I am lucky to be teaching at Canopy Oaks and I look forward to working with my students this year.”

Superintendent of Schools Rocky Hanna-

I believe Teacher Bressack has cleared up any misunderstandings about the language used in the classroom. I can assure you I take matters like this very seriously and I will not allow teachers in our school system to influence our children negatively—though in this situation I do not believe this is the case.

As superintendent I want to apologize for the letter going out to parents as I am the person who is ultimately responsible for everything that happens in our school district. I will work hard to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again.

Well, the school itself lists her as Ms. Bressack. Her real name is Chloe, and all the other teacher's links, when you click on them you get their picture, contact information, class information, etc..

Her's is blank.

Tell my kid to call her Miss and also tell the teacher that there are only 2 genders.

I want my kids to be respectful, but there is nothing disrespectful about using she/her to discuss a female.

Nowadays, I'm just happy if they don't try to bang my kid.

5th graders don't need to be confused by suggesting that "personal pronouns" are a real thing!

Girls are she and boys are he. Simple!

Key line:
It takes practice to feel natural........

Admitting what you are doing is total bullshite. If this were legit it wouldn't take practice to feel natural. Sounds like a dude convincing his GF to do anal

Just tell your kid to always call them ma'am or sir, whichever is opposite of their gender.

Thank God my youngest is almost 17 and can think for himself by now. I sympathize with those of you who are just starting out raising children.

Make sure your kid calls it a freak whenever given the chance.

But I just do not get this stuff at all, and I can not help but think that something fundamentally does not make sense here and is stretching reasonableness. I don't know, man. There's something screwy about this new gender shite.

Im suspicious of it too. We know these power groups meet up and plan NWO type shite. Of course it doenst come off that way as they flower up their presentations with seemingly innocuous language like, "Future Planning for Urban America", "Social Contracting and The Role of Women", "Urban Mayors League - Economic Redistribution & Symbolic Replacement Gestures 2017".

This gender shite came on too fast and too strong to be some organic, social-media, peoples movement. They got something in the works.

I almost believe it's all an effort to remove all absolutes of any kind from society.

What can you truly believe in if ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is up for interpretation. You can't really "hang your hat" on any firm belief if you even gender isn't fixed.

My kid would have been in a Catholic school and I wouldn't have received that letter.

Go ahead and get a head start. Whip your kids as many times as you can for their future acts of intolerance.
