I was in BR for Betsy. Remember it like yesterday. Hit at night and you could hear the trees snapping and falling for hours.

Yeah, kind of thinking about leaving Tuesday and maybe coming back Saturday or Sunday. Just work remotely, and hang.

For Gustav I was out of power for 2 weeks off Bluebonnet/Highland..found out the the substation was in Bluebonnet Swamp. When you're without power for 2 weeks, you find out real quick where the frick your Substation is.. Stayed in BR a few days by the pool, then went to Houston for a few days, came back , still had no power for a few days. Frick that 2 weeks.

No problem, obviously things are fluid and as we’ve seen are changing fast.

I lived off of highland around Kenilworth during Gustav. Our street was without power for 4 weeks, so I took shelter at my parent's house in Denham. Two weeks in, I got an angry text from the landlord complaining that the grass hadn't been mowed yet. Never mind the huge pine tree that had snapped in half and crashed in the yard. Glad to get power back and even more glad to move out of there 3 months later.

Ha. No 64. I was just a kid but remember everything. After the storm we had no power for 10 days.

For Gustav we were the first to get power back in Pville. I think it was about 2 days.

Talk about look like an a-hole when we were going shopping buying frozen items, produce, and perishables while everyone was just trying to make it by.

I had 6-8 extra people staying in 1300 sq ft until their power was returned.

At least he didn't blast through Marco's tight center.
