bad the coverage is in TWC.
They are clowns.
Before a bunch of live feeds posted by the great OT i was stuck watching them.
After awhile I switched back and the dumb arse appeared to have on a kevlar vest?, helmet and safety glasses.
Like really?

I wonder how much of the better outcomes for power and other infrastructure is due to the rebuild after Rita?
I was thinking the same thing. I suspect this recovery could go easier than Rita. That was a damn mess.

A neighbor is getting me updates in a few minutes from a friend of his in town. The neighbor's house looks fine so I am encouraged about mine. Shingles only on his.

is the isle of capri finally an actual pile of debris?

Just got word my new construction came through unharmed. Neighbor lost windows and most i. The neighborhood lost shingles and gas laterns. Natural gas blowing all over.
Got the one that stayed and the one that got in turning gas off to each house.
This is by the port of LC off Sallier. No water.
One new construction lost their front porch. But in general minor damage all things considering.
From what I have been told wind damage is much worse overall compared to Rita.

How bad is the damage to the federal court in Lake Chuck? I’ve heard rumors that it is totally destroyed but no confirmation.

Yea I was told wind damage was worse than Rita but I still expect a better recover just due to all the upgrades to infrastructure.
