Stout, don't pay attention to that shite. That is a very very rough estimate and with the direction of the wind, the lake will not be flooding that away. Like I said you danger is the canal and they drained that mother fricker today completely.
so what are the realistic flooding levels? not that 15'?

Looks like my call of a Cameron landfall yesterday may prove right.
Looking that way.
And while I wouldn't celebrate yet, you've got to think that's incredibly good news for the catastrophic LC storm surge predictions.

The real battle is going to be between Mark Sudduth's Cameron camera and Laura. I don't think the cam makes it.

For anyone who has DirecTV, they are carrying local news coverage from Lake Charles on channel 361-2.

15' is reasonable in cameron, but it doesn't just spread like they have it showing. Doesn't work like that.
Where you at in LC slow? Can you look on the cis on the cppj website and tell me your elevation?

They have their hands full. At what point do you just say to hell with it and warn the whole band?

I live in south Lake Charles. I can still communicate with my WiFi thermostat so I still have power at my house.
