But Paragraph 4 specifically states ".. in which nuclear weapons are used"
Fortunately, they have not been used and hopefully won't (or any WMD).
For the remainder of your comments, are apparently verbal only comments and understanding binding? This could lead to differing interpretations of what was said and what it meant... especially as administrations change.
You rightfully mention the implications going forward but i wonder about the implications of our various sanctions, esp if imposed on other countries and entities further removed from Russia. Who would trust us or the US dollar?

I can’t understand why some people that post on a southern college football message board carry water for Russia. Russia isn’t our friend, they never really were. The feelings towards the current administration, as bad as they are shouldn’t cloud anyone’s judgment when it comes to what Russia is trying to do. In a perfect world the US would have had several extra bombs to spare after Japan and we wouldn’t be dealing with this now.
Yep, Reagan would be appalled.

I have read that they (Chicoms) are already looking at the American command structure and how to duplicate it in their military.
Even Lukashenko of Belarus was recently complimenting the Ukrainian army and it's effectiveness. Said that Belarus could learn from it.
The US/Western system requires leaders at all levels who think for themselves, delegate authority, take the initiative and respect their country's civic institutions. All those are anathama to an authoritarian regime. China may try to create a phony approximation, but it will never work.

French President Emmanuel Macron asked Ukraine to make concessions on its sovereignty to help Russian leader Vladimir Putin save face, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. In an interview with Italian TV channel RAI’s “Porta a Porta” talk show broadcast Thursday evening, Zelenskyy was asked about Macron’s comments on Monday, in which he warned Europe must avoid humiliating Putin.
That type of thinking is why this is going on now.

I’m just shocked to see the likeminded people on this board that can see both the lefty and righty agendas and the impact it’s having on their sheep on both sides

You’re being led by your nose, by a group of Trotskyites.

Please try and explain to us what you mean by Trosyskite? I’m going out on a limb and stating I’ve read more books about the old man than you have.

Well McArthur did want us to wipe the Soviets out after we were done w/the Japs. So there is that.

IMO the most anti-Americanism that I see from a government may be France. The most anti-Americanism that I have seen from a European people may be Greece.

Per the ISW report for May 14, Transnistrian forces appear to be returning to normal positions and duties.
