Really interesting, it’s almost like a large air defense asset was removed from the area.
First Ukraine destroys a supply ship supplying SAMs to snake island. Now Ukrainian Air Force is using manned aircraft to attack Snake Island for the first time since the start of the war. It is not definitive but it is some circumstantial evidence that the Ukrainians did in fact sink the Adamiral Makarov.

It is that. Damn, they were low and firing off flares. Second plane flies through the debris from the main explosion. It looks like the main cluster of buildings already had a building on fire, and they cleared most of the structures out, and about half of the secondary building cluster. Russia counts dead at 29k but they include missing presumed KIA. I’ve heard in the past that Russias number is 100k KWM which they themselves acknowledged has happened or is close to happening. They aren’t including Wagner Group KIA in their numbers. Three possibilities for the parade speech-maintain, withdraw or ramp up with mobilization. The military aside from the Butcher of Syria would prefer withdrawal. There are no hawks left. Ships sunk.

Source on this? I've seen the "leaked" news docs that say it, but havent heard the government actually acknowledge this.

The Russians crossed the Siverskyi Donets River today, and are outflanking Lysychansk to the west.
The Russians also captured Popasna to the south.
That will cut off the Ukrainians in Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.
It looks like the Russians are moving out of Izium as well.
