I know they were huge during the first gulf war. Not sure how big they were during the 2003 invasion but they had almost zero Air Force. We had severely degraded that and their air defense systems in the decade leading up to 2003 while enforcing the no fly zone. And they certainly didn’t have cool Javelins or anything close to it. They basically had the same shitty tanks and BMPs that Ukraine and Russia are using now.
I want to say I read a few weeks ago that Ukraine had almost 400K men under arms by the time the invasion started. And obviously we had been equipping and training them. Don’t quote me on that number though.

They were terrible. Completely gutted by the Iran/Iraq war.

Can you tell me which news sources you do trust with regards to this invasion? I’m not saying you have to completely trust them but you seem dismiss a lot of them.

Rus. Army troops killed 12,814. Private company Liga (former Vagner) troops killed 4,451.
Holy shite!
That is the number for the first 25 days or so of combat. That is an average of 690 Russian soldiers dying in Ukraine per day. Could you imagine the shitestorm the American people and media would throw if we were losing 690 troops per day in a war?
The U.S. had 58K soldiers killed in Vietnam over 12 years and that scarred the American psyche for decades
That averages our to about 13 per day...or about 5200% less

Their tanks were so old and beat to shite we could take out a whole group before they could even get a shot off. Even though they had large numbers they were too outdated to compete.
The first Gulf War was a showcase for how far our tech had advanced.

I dont trust either sides sources. But certainly not BBC, CNN, ABC, RT, Twitter ppl with TDs, Max from DWTS, Super Model twins, Oksana Biuel, Tinder etc. If you can explain why I should trust them im all ears

Ukraine had 196,000 soldiers in active duty on the night the invasion started. It also had 900,000 reservists. Ukraine was able to mobilized 200,000 within 48 hours of the invasion and has mobilized the other 700,000 since then. That does not include the # of civilians who are training to fight off the Russians when they enter the key cities.

Well special forces from the USA and NATO did spend years training the Ukies how to use their ATGMs as well as how passing on 20 years worth of knowledge about ambushes that they learned the hard way in the ME. Obviously the Ukies were good students.

You didn’t answer my question. What sources do YOU trust?

Yet you have enough to time throw numerous low effort insults in thousands of posts. It’s doesn’t take much effort or time to type out a few sentence long rebuttal.
It really seems like you’re either scared of sharing your full opinion because you fear you can’t defend it in more detail or you have no original thoughts

I’m trying to right now if you’d answer my above question. I don’t want to get way off topic by debating something else. But I’ll make sure to do so next time I see your comment on another topic.
How about this? Next time you respond to another comment on here, in addition to throwing an insult can you also expand just a little on it? Like give your opinion/rebuttal that’s not in the form of an insult. Is that too hard for you?
