The US obviously has a demand for transient and immigrant labor and there are a ton of Mexicans/South Americans willing to fill that void for low cost.
Securing the border while also adjusting visa policies and getting rid of red tape for certain seasonal industries that rely heavily on immigrant labor (farming) is ideal.

If you are going to make moronic statements, at least make it about a photo you are trying to reference and not a completely different pic you are replying about.

I fell into the trap of getting off topic on other political bs. I am re-posting this to try to make amends and get the thread back on track.
quote:
It is the first month of war in Eastern Europe. China is frustrated and nonplussed by Russia's request for military aide. It is more likely than not that China knew about the war before it happened. They, like Putin, expected it to be quick. Instead the information war threatens to besmirch China if it dares to feed the war machine that is killing mothers, orphaning children and dragging into a fourth week. Rumors swirl of cracks in Chinese-Russian unity, especially after Chinese state-run media gently ran a story of Russian acts of violence on civilians. There are always signals in the noise during delicate times such as these. Still, no one really knows if China will follow through on aiding Vladimir Putin at his greatest time of need. That is why the President is calling Xi Jinping tomorrow directly to find out. If China aids Russia, it risks the opprobrium of the world. If China refrains, she risks losing face under Western pressure. I can only imagine the frustration, perhaps even fury, that Xi Jinping and the senior party leadership must feel towards Vladimir Putin. In the cold calculus of geopolitics, Putin's resort to barbarity to break the deadlock is embarrassing to China. He's put them in quite the pickle. Meanwhile Putin is now waging a war against his own people. In a bizarre speech he warned of national traitors and those who have enslaved their consciousness to the West. They are scum... gnats that have flown into the mouth and must be spit down onto the pavement. This Orwellian broadcast is a dark portent for the people of Russia who have just descended behind a new Iron Curtain. One of Putin's most vulnerable domestic flanks is his own federal security apparatus, the FSB, upon which he has ordered house arrests and detainments. Military purges seem likely. The Ukrainian counterattacks continue with encouraging advances made in the direction of Kherson. Fighting was heavy near Kyiv as the Ukrainians battled back against the Russian encroachments in the northwestern suburbs. Kharkiv and, especially, Mariupol are scenes of almost constant tragedy. The humanitarian crisis has seen 3.5m refugees flee their homeland now. NATO continues its buildup on the Eastern Flank. The most potential for an escalation continues to be Russia threatening to interdict arms supplies to Ukraine. The most important thing to watch tomorrow is Biden's call with Xi Jinping. The trajectory of this war is at stake in this call.

By that logic every time a team rushes the field after a football game you’d call it an “attempted coup”.
It was a mob of people, with no agenda other than the fluidity of the mob. Your constant display of ignorance is pretty impressive.

I swear, it's like every a-hole leader in the world decides to start some shite in the last 6-12 months. Why is this happening all at once?
They sense weakness. It is really as simple as that. The "big stick" rings hollow to our adversaries with our current leadership.

Are football fans trying to overthrow the government when they rush the field?
Look, I may not like the outcome of the last election, but my allegiance is to the constitution, not a political party and certainly not to a particular candidate. The Jan 6 "protestors" were going against the constitution and that's where I draw the line.

I don’t think it was an “attempted coup” but just some LARPers taking it too far and feeding off energy. However this analogy is idiotic.

If we are to distill this to its essence, a lot of American white supremacists see Putin’s Russia as their beacon on a hill. Maybe that’s not everyone with Putin love but it’s a lot of them. This goes beyond the Poliboard. Someone tell me I’m wrong.
People who think white supremacy is wide spread enough to even being worth mentioning in civilized conversations are fricking retarded and not worth taking seriously in any way.

No, it was not. Not even remotely.
And if you really think it was, you're a fricking moron.

Hey I call it how I see it but I know I’m not the only one that sees it.

A U.S. intelligence community assessment obtained by Yahoo News concluded that the Russian government is providing “indirect and passive support” to neofascist groups operating in the U.S. and elsewhere, but stops short of accusing the Kremlin of supplying financial or material assistance to Western extremist groups. The Kremlin “probably tolerates some private Russian entities’ support” for U.S. and European white nationalist groups “because it aligns with Kremlin efforts to aggravate societal fissures in the West,” states the report.
Russian neofascist groups have attempted to recruit and provide paramilitary training to North American and European extremists in order to “expand their reach into the West, increase membership, and raise money,” according to the unclassified July 2021 intelligence report.
The support of Western neofascists by Russian extremists “poses a potential threat to Western security by encouraging and enabling attacks on ethnic minorities and government facilities,” states the report, which is titled “Russian Federation Support of Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists.”
