Think Putin would consider this an act of war?

We damn sure probably would, or we should, rather, if it happened to us.

Ukrainian national guard was trying to hold them off, that didn’t last long.
The billions of dollars in weapons we provided them sure did work well!

An interesting note about complications of this fight:
quote:
Since Russia and Ukraine have a lot of equipment used by them both, friendly fire risk was quite high, because it would be harder to tell apart friend from foe. Russia's Z is for their troops to be able to identify that those vehicles are russian ones, not ukranians

craziest part about this tbh. never once thought about what a war would be like today with social media and almost everyone owning phones with cameras.
just watching a war unfold on my twitter timeline. insane
We got a taste of it at home in 2020

Considering Russia has been attacking the US en masse for the better part of a generation, I’d say they’re due for us to go in dry.

Probably, but he's been fabricating "Acts of war" left and right so justify his imperialist expansion so it's not like he needs a further pretext.

Moscow is willing to negotiate terms of surrender with kyiv, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
In exchange Ukraine would: a guarantee of neutral status and the promise of no weapons on its territory. Per RT.

No weapons on its territory. So basically they agree and get rid of weapons and then Putin goes back in and takes over without opposition?

A chinese invasion of taiwan is much more complicated, logistically.
And economically.
Are ya'll forgetting we're like 25% of their export GDP and they're riddled with debt similar to us?
And where are they going to get corn? From Russia and Ukraine now?
Brazils crop is about to be shite and we could cut them off.
It's significantly more complicated than ya'll are thinking. Could it happen, sure but its not the slam dunk this board keeps making it out to be.
Huge risk for China and their relatively infant navy/air force.

I don't much care for the terms of that deal.

Africa. They own farmland in over 40 countries in Africa with its total area being around the size of Tasmania. It’s the insurance policy from Satan. They’ll starve Africa out.

All of this.
Don't mistake Xi's posturing as confidence. He knows the prospects of taking Taiwan are wrought with hazards and blowback. Right now Taiwan is a bargaining chip and a source of leverage to him.
