Independent: Ukraine-Russia war latest: Zelensky reveals ‘significant’ Russian losses in Kursk and says fight continues
Putin yesterday staged his first visit to Kursk since Russia claimed it expelled all Ukrainian forces from the region

Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia has suffered more than 63,000 casualties in Kursk and that Ukrainian operations there continue, hours after Vladimir Putin made a surprise visit to the region.

“Since the start of the Kursk operation in August, the Russian army has suffered significant losses – more than 63,000 killed and wounded in that area alone,” Mr Zelensky said in his nightly address.

Zelensky's adviser from 2022-2023, aka the Ukrainian whisperer says that ex-Ukrainian advisor and politician was 99% killed by Zelensky.

I might give Arestovich a follow given he's got a direct insight into the coked out midget. Since Zelensky put criminal cases and froze his accounts on him last month he's been more vocal. I wouldn't be surprised if Zelensky tries to whack him too. The guy is probably smart enough to keep moving and wearing hat and glasses in public.

PS, cope and CitizenKiiiiiv were clueless as always. This guy has a better take than anyone on who whacks whom in Ukraine.

war crimes update...

Two women killed and two injured in Russian attacks on Donetsk Oblast
Anastasia Protz — Thursday, 22 May 2025, 13:38

Russian forces carried out an artillery strike on the city of Kostiantynivka and attacked the settlement of Raihorodok in Donetsk Oblast with a Lancet kamikaze drone on 22 May, killing two women aged 54 and 51 and injuring two others.

Source: Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram

Details: Russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka with artillery at approximately 07:30. A 54-year-old woman was killed by a direct hit on a residential building. Her daughter, 27, sustained a blast injury, an open head wound, and injuries to her head, neck and legs.

At 10:35, a Lancet kamikaze drone struck near a shop in Raihorodok in the Kramatorsk district. A 51-year-old woman working at a kiosk was killed instantly, and a 39-year-old woman selling goods at the market was taken to hospital after sustaining shrapnel wounds and a blast injury.

Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attacks as evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against civilians.

Per the Wall Street Journal, Trump has told the Europeans for the first time he doesn't think Putin wants to end the war because Putin believe he's winning it. Still, Trump won't impose sanctions.

However, "Europeans don’t believe the Trump administration will stop U.S. weapons exports as long as Europe or Ukraine pays for them.”

Good recap of Trump continually being played by Putin, however the light is finally starting to glow as to Putin's real intentions. We continue to look for reasons why the President of the United States acts in such a stupid manner while trying to deny the obvious.

However, one truism about Trump remains - he sees himself as a businessman and deal-maker. So he allows Ukraine to continue to receive US weapons as long as they pay for them. Or more accurately, as long as Russia pays for them.

"He's played". Right instead he should continue funding Ukros and the coked out midget who tried to impeach him, get him out of office in the 1st term, funded Biden's shitty family and didn't let him know when there was an assassination plot on him.

Bumpkin logic 101.

When Trump pays Ukros back x3 fold by cutting off all the aid, it'll be beautiful. Hopefully Russia rips them a new a-hole.

Blumenthal & Graham's Hard-Hitting Sanctions Bill has a Supermajority wth 81 Cosponsors.

quote:

[WASHINGTON, DC] – U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) today made the below joint statement after their legislation to impose primary and secondary sanctions against Russia and actors supporting Russia’s aggression in Ukraine reached 81 cosponsors in the U.S. Senate.

These sanctions would be imposed if Russia refuses to engage in good faith negotiations for a lasting peace with Ukraine or initiates another effort, including military invasion, that undermines the sovereignty of Ukraine after peace is negotiated. The legislation also imposes a 500 percent tariff on imported goods from countries that buy Russian oil, gas, uranium, and other products.

Are there any mid-term elections coming up soon...?

I'm not normally a big believer in Congressional action in foreign affairs outside of bullying Third World countries from time to time, but this does have possible traction with 81 co-signors. We'll see. But it could flush out many of the pro-Russian actors in Washington and abroad. Nothing like a 500% tariff to force the K Street lowlifes into the sunlight.

Wasn't it a Ukrainian traitorous sow Vindman who along with Zelensky coordinated this.

They tried to use sham impeachment to put pressure on Trump to give Ukros weapons.

Payback is gonna be a bitch.

Top NAFO Fella Reporter Brings Bad News

"A Ukrainian officer warns of the “collapse of the front” and the associated “fall of the defense of Pokrovsk.”

The situation (not only) here is critical for the Ukrainian army, as I have repeatedly reported in recent weeks.

Especially in the area of ??drones, the Russians have caught up extremely, if not even overtaken the Ukrainian defenders.

Hundreds of fiber-optic drones are now deployed every day. There are almost no defenses against them.

As a result, Ukraine is losing far more vehicles than it can replace. This makes logistics – as the officer writes – almost impossible.

In addition, new Russian infantrymen are constantly arriving and, for the past month, numerous Russian armored vehicles are advancing together with civilian vehicles.

The failure of the Western partners has led to Zelenskyy now being willing to accept any compromise.

However, since the same failure also means that the Russian army has no reason whatsoever to rely on negotiations, the situation will continue to worsen.

Lol that's not true. This thread was doing fine before these stupid Twitter links appeared. It is still a good aggregator of news sources in spite of the inane Twitter links spam.
