Putin is holding up peace.
If Zelensky won't pursue a realistic peace because he is holding out for something he will never get, he is holding up peace.
That doesn't mean Putin isn't also holding up peace. Or that Zelensky is holding it up more than Putin is.
You would do yourself a lot of favors if you could see the world in anything except black and white. It is rarely ever "either/or".

Please define “realistic peace” for me because it appears to me you are saying Ukraine should just capitulate

You’d do yourself a big favor if you stopped automatically jumping in on Russia’s side. There is no grey area here. Russia invaded Ukraine and Ukraine is defending itself.
All this talk of who wants peace the most is pure BS. We all know Russia wanted war. They broke the peace. They want Ukraine under their thumb and all these talks are just window dressing unless Putin is being pressured internally.

I'm saying Ukraine should probably make some pretty large concessions now before they likely get fricked down the road, yeah.

How will that do me any favors? A bunch of strangers online will like me more? I will get more upvotes? Oh, goody!
I'm actually on the side of peace and life. I know thats hard for people who celebrate Russian citizens getting killed to understand.

If you cant win the argument, change it

Well this certainly does not sound promising....

The current situation at the frontline is complex, as Russians are advancing “practically along the entire front,” revealed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
I see they not only lost Kursk, but Russia has now advanced into Ukraine there as well.
zelensky is not getting into nato, he is not getting back the territory reclaimed by Russia, and if he cant defend like a man then he needs to stop crying like a child for some defense force to protect him.
This needless killing is a shame. He will keep this up til the whole country is lost and then head off to his vineyard in Tuscany.

They should try and cut a deal (and it seems they are) but there’s no reason to cut a deal and give up their sovereignty which is what Russia wants them to do.

It will probably save you from injuring yourself by patting yourself on the back too hard.

Actually you aren’t. You are on Russia’s side as best I can tell. As far as celebrating death and destruction you should be targeting John Baron. He’s st it 24/7. Personally, I’d love it if Thursdsy Trump brokered a deal, both sides quit fighting, new borders were drawn, and both sides respected the deal.

Well If I'm confident in anything, its that this doesn't mean a hell of a whole lot.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will lead the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul.
So after all of your pontificating and posturing in the thread you started on Sunday on the Poli Board calling out Zelensky for not "immediately" agreeing to show up in Turkey to meet face to face with Putin, now it's Putin who is not going to show up there and Zelensky is saying he'll be there if Putin commits to being there.
"PUTIN WANTS TO MEET FOR TALKS ON THURSDAY - We all know Zelensky will refuse."
Don't you look like a stupid shite...........AGAIN.

We've heard that before

Same thing when he said Russia shouldn't accept a ceasefire. Then Trump comes out and demands Russia accept a ceasefire. Crickets.
Dude is too busy linking another batch of 20 X posts from his troll farm bosses. He won't read, care, or respond. His job is to spew, not to defend.

Well, if Russia has finally driven Ukrainian forces out of Kursk for the 207th time that's good for them!!!

now it's Putin who is not going to show
When did he ever say he was attending the meeting? Oh that's right...He never said that. Not surprising coming from the biggest NAFO Troll on this board with a damaged Brain.
"There is no definitive statement from Vladimir Putin himself confirming that he would personally attend the meetings in Istanbul scheduled for May 15, 2025. Putin proposed direct talks with Ukraine in Istanbul, as reported by multiple sources, but he did not explicitly commit to attending in person. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that a Russian delegation would be present. Zelensky’s decision to attend the Istanbul talks, but only to negotiate with Putin, is a political stunt in the sense of empty theatrics."

If tweet fails to load, click here. Shocker!!
But he has no problem encouraging Ukraine to keep on fighting and dying.
"Bags" Macron is the biggest fraud in Europe. He has made all kinds of promises and he crawfishes everytime.
Some of the Troskyites on here actually believed that Europe would save Ukraine.
Delusional. Out of touch with reality and in denial.
BTW: "Bags" looks high as a kite.

Ukraine still occupies part of Kursk so you don't know what you are talking about at all

There is only one place in Ukraine that Russians are the majority and that is Crimea where the Russians forced everyone else out. Russians are a distinct minority everywhere else.
Must take a lot of effort to have so many Ukrainians all around so few Russians.
