Your thread OP that I linked above quoted President Trump saying “Putin wants to meet for talks on Thursday” in Turkey.
Trump didn’t say “Putin wants Sergei Lavrov to meet for talks on Thursday.”
quote:
TRUMP SAYS PUTIN WANTS TO MEET FOR TALKS ON THURSDAY
And you spent the rest of that thread ridiculing Zelensky for refusing to meet Putin in Turkey for talks.
Now pretzel yourself denying it.

This is one thing that happens when a minority tries to forcefully take over a majority.

https://maritime-executive.com/editorials/russian-navy-s-weakness-in-the-mediterranean-becomes-clear

Since the downscaling of its Mediterranean footprint at Tartus in Syria from a fully-fledged naval base, complete with refueling, logistics and munitions warehouses, Russia’s Mediterranean Squadron has been without an alternative facility. This might not be a serious operational impediment had Russian naval vessels been able to access the facilities they once enjoyed in Sevastopol. But since the Turkish authorities exercised their right under the Montreux Convention to restrict the passage of combatant nations through the Bosporus, such an alternative arrangement is not possible - and even if it were, the no-ship Ukrainian Navy would still be waiting in ambush.

He never did. That was Donald Trump who encouraged him to attend. And you who said it was Zelensky who would back out.
You're so twisted up on yourself you're arguing our own points for us.

And Russia will crap in their pants if they get the trucks.

DJT: "Putin says he wants to go to Turkey to meet directly with Zelensky to talk about a peace agreement. Zelensky should immediately agree to meet with Putin in Turkey. "
John Barron: "Zelensky is refusing to meet face to face with Putin in Turkey! He's a coward. Putin is THE MAN! He's willing to go to Turkey because he wants peace, unlike Zelensky!"
Zelensky: "I will go to Turkey to negotiate peace if Putin is there to talk face to face."
Putin: "Uh, not so fast there President Donald. I won't go to Turkey. I'll send my flunky instead."
John Barron: " Putin never said he'd go to Turkey!"

Cool. Thanks for admitting the Truth. Since Putin never said he was going, why would Zelensky say he is going to meet Putin in Istanbul and will only negotiate with Putin? That answer is a easy one.
"Zelensky’s decision to attend the Istanbul talks, but only to negotiate with Putin, is a political stunt in the sense of empty theatrics."

Would you look at that. Peace Negotiations in Istanbul in 2022 that didn't include Putin and Zelensky. Nothing but a political stunt by Zelensky. Putin never said he would be attending the meetings

With your reputation for consistently lying about almost everything, do you do that because you're just making quotes up?
quote:Then why did you start a thread on Sunday complaining about Zelensky not agreeing to meet for talks in Istanbul two days from now while praising Putin for agreeing to meet then, Comrade Pretzel?
Since Putin never said he was going

make excuses for Zelensky
And that's exactly what your doing. Zelensky said he would only Negotiate with Putin when Putin never said he was going to the meeting. So in other words Zelensky is avoiding having negotiations and you are making excuses for it. Putin said from the beginning that he was sending a team for Negotiations in Istanbul. Let's see if Zelensky or a Ukrainian team will actually NEGOTIATE in Istanbul. Zelensky showing up in Istanbul saying he is not negotiating with anyone but Putin, is Zelensky avoiding negotiations. You NAFO trolls making Excuses for Zelensky’s political stunt

Correct. You are in a thread that you claimed you never post in having a Mental breakdown about Zelensky and Istanbul.
