Yeah, it was a glorious victory, especially the part when they hit the bomb shelter under the theater, killing hundreds of women and children. How many times have you jerked off to your picture of shirtless Putin while thinking about that?

They need these alcohols and cannot make them competitively.
I went to the main Sasol lab at Mossel Bay many years ago and they had 29 gas chromatographs. Twenty freaking nine GC's. They told me Sasolburg had twice that number. That's the power of a government fighting crude oil sanctions. My company had four for the entirety of North America. Four. I wasn't allowed to take a photograph so I couldn't tell the story when I got back home. Without a photograph, everyone would have just laughed.

I am afraid Zelensky is willing to play the role of Hitler in the bunker. I am afraid he is going to take Ukraine down like Hitler did Germany. I believe the ultra nationalists there are holding him to it.
Looking at this war from an objective standpoint, I have to agree that it appears Zelensky is willing to take his country into oblivion instead of making peace while it still can. He’s divorced himself from reality. There is nothing left to be gained for Ukraine by continuing the war. They lack the military strength to regain any appreciable amount of territory.

So losing your country is better than losing a generation?
I don't think you understand that this is the same thing when the generation below that is very small. That coming gap in young people means economic collapse. Ukraine had been benefiting from attracting young people from elsewhere for higher education and tech jobs... but that's been screwed by the invasion.

I recall Hitler told the German people that victory was assured if only their will was as great as his. That they could overcome any shortfall if their will was great enough. How did that turn out?
You are applying this anecdote to the wrong side in this conflict.
Ukraine has made it this far by minimizing its losses. That's why they retreat and give up areas, which people say is a mistake... but in the meantime, they have eliminated a lot of Russian troops and equipment to then cede villages reduced to rubble.

Trump is 1000000% right, the Europeans need to step up and stop relying on us.
Trump doesn't mean this when he says it... he then accuses the EU of being created to "screw the US." What he means is that Europe needs to cede control to Putin, who he prefers to their leaders.

Truth. I am talking government policy and those that support intervention. We should have never been there to start with other than removing the Taliban and getting out.
That would've resulted in the Taliban taking over again, immediately... the problem in Afghanistan is tribalism. The population is splintered and don't work together on anything, so the Taliban outnumbers them and prevails.

Let me ask you this question, if Rusdia conquers Ukraine what happens to all of these young people? They won’t prosper as Russians. They’ll run for the border.

Lee,
The EU was formed specifically to screw the US on trade.
What is this nonsense about Ukraine minimizing losses, is that why they are kidnapping people off the street and throwing them to the front lines.
Russia has 10 times the artillery they do, you think this stupidness about Russia and meat waves is true, bless your heart.
Every time bodies are exchanged there are 10 times the amount of ukranians versus russians.
Its over, its been over, but conveniently their constitution wont call for an election.....wonder who wrote that in?????
They run out of current stock of US artillery and parts in 6-8 weeks lets see what is left of ukraine then.

Sasol also has Oryx in Qatar which is half the size of Shell's Pearl, Shell also has a GTL plant in Malaysia. Juniper in Westlake was going to make hard waxes to compete with Shell and Sasol. The entire bankruptcy of Juniper and its parent company is because of the EU then the 2nd shoe to drop was the 2014 oil price collapse in the US dried up all funding.
Another bankruptcy of Juniper occurred when a sheik from UAE was bilked out of a few hundred million by the T&M contractor to complete it. I was going to bid for that plant in the first bankruptcy but my financial backer didn't come up with the funds promised. I tried again after the 2nd bankruptcy. Someone is supposed to be buying it and has placed a deposit with progress payments but looking iffy now with oil price low again.
Juniper was had plans to build a 2nd plant in the Houston are much larger but making FT base oil instead of paraffin wax. The reactors for paraffin wax are to remove impurities via hydrogenation. The reactor for base oil is to hydrocrack the waxy syncrude like Oryx and Pearl do.

What is more impressive is that Russia has taken everything, every imaginable weapon, intel, advisors, and sanctions from the west.....and they still comin, everyday taking more territory. Ironically it is Russia fighting for its sovereignty against the global cabal, one of the remaining countries willing to do so, goodness knows the US citizenry succumbed to the wishes of the cabal years ago and its evidenced time and again on this thread.

I think what many here can’t, or won’t, accept is that unless the war is brought to an end soon, Russia will conquer Ukraine. It’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of when. Barring Europe and the US pouring thousands of troops into the war to fight for Ukraine, they will soon reach the point of military collapse and Russia will impose whatever terms it wants. And we all know what that means.

The thing is that you've been saying this for at least 2 years. Define "soon" please. I think you understand a Russian attack up the Fulda Gap, but to be honest I don't think you have a grasp of the current battlefront.

Wrong. I’ve not been saying it for two year. But perhaps you want to go back to the link I posted just yesterday or the day before. It’s an article in the Guardian (hardly a pro-Putin source) from December where they quote Ukraine officers describing how rear area air defense units are being denuded of men in order to send bodies to the trenches. And how old and unfit men are being drafted and sent to the front after only a few weeks of cursory training. How they barely know how to even fire a rifle when they arrive at the front.
These are the signs of a country that is scrapping the bottom of the barrel from a manpower standpoint.
