Did you misinterpret my pointing out that Zelenskyy is not a good-faith negotiator as being in ANY WAY an assertion that Putin is negotiating in good faith?

Putin is scum!
Zelenskyy is caught in an Apr22 reality though.
Ukraine sacrificed countless young lives in the interim between Apr22 and Apr25 ---- to what end?

As soon as that question registers, Zelensky becomes unelectible.

Are you referring to the air defense missile that landed in Poland? And ignoring the Russian drones that have landed in Romania? And the times Russian drones and missiles have entered Polish airspace?

All are unintentional and haven't really done anything other than strong words, but I would agree the single air defense debris incident in Poland was a wee bit overplayed. However you are ignoring the incidents that were Russias fault

No, i just further highlighted it by pointing out one of them is in fact significantly worse. Sorry that hurt you so much.

Electable, comrade. I get English is a tricky language, but accept the suggestions your phone spits out.

France, Italy and Spain are thwarting the EU plan to send large quantities of weapons to Ukraine, — Politico

??Southern European countries did not accept the European Commission's plan and von der Leyen on a sharp increase in defense spending and the "re-armament of Europe."
??The situation threatens to disrupt Brussels' plan to transfer large quantities of weapons from Europe to Ukraine.
??The strategy included allowing EU states to temporarily increase defense spending by 1.5 percent of GDP for four years, as well as borrow 150 billion euros to support joint arms purchases for Ukraine.
?“Some countries seriously question the wisdom or even the possibility of taking on debt at this level,” said one senior EU diplomat."

Russia still attacking at the front wasn't the same thing? I'm aghast there wasn't already stoppage of fighting when talks about agreeing to a ceasefire were ongoing and not concluded.

BTW, doesn't Russia want sanctions lifted as part of a ceasefire agreement? That means there has never been a ceasefire actually agreed too as of now.

Sweetheart, I don't have an emotional stake in whether one is "significantly worse" than the other. That's your game. They are both terrible enough. IMO, it's a choice between Bugs Moran and Al Capone. Pick your poison. But understand, the outcome remains inevitable. Capone wins.

You can always tell when another Man is panicking. Zelensky is very worried

Zelensky from the Land of Delusion: “Putin will die soon — it’s a fact. Then everything will end.”

In a chaotic rant, Zelensky claims:
• The U.S. is under the influence of Russian narratives
• He doesn’t know Trump well enough to gauge his ties to Putin
• Ukraine was “never surrounded” in Kursk
• He “unlocked” the U.S. aid deal by leveraging resource agreements
• Putin fears unity between the U.S. and Europe
• And insists Putin wants to stay in power until his death

From delusion to desperation, the Kiev Clown finds new depths daily.

Russian crude oil exports were 10 million BPD in 2021. Reached a 5 month high of 3.45 million BPD recently. My guess with discounts as incentive they make $34.5 million per day at most as net, or roughly $10 per barrel profit

It’s war, they are fighting off an invader trying to survive. It’s terrible, people die all because one country wants to take over another.

FDR stopped the Japanese and the Nazis, but thousands of our soldiers were killed. Were all their deaths necessary? Was our strategy perfect?

Abe Lincoln sent thousands of our soldiers to the South to preserve our Union. Was it necessary? Were all of his military decisions perfect?

What about George Washington? Harry Truman?

Zelensky is certainly deserving criticism, and he’s certainly made some bad decisions; however, what he’s done wrong doesn’t come close to the death and destruction Putin has caused.

Like Txaggie you know zero about economics.

The cost to produce oil and get to point of export is $50 per barrel. That is cost. There is no way anyone is paying Russia close to $70 per barrel. Russia is bent over like a Russian recruit becoming a Russian soldier.

ISW Update Marxh 26 2025

quote:

Key Takeaways:

The details of the ceasefire agreements on energy strikes and maritime operations in the Black Sea that US, Ukrainian, and Russian officials reached on March 24 and 25 remain unclear.

Russia and Ukraine exchanged accusations of strikes and ceasefire violations, although the ceasefire terms remain unclear.

Russian officials explicitly rejected US President Donald Trump's recent suggestion that the United States could be involved in operating the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

The European Union (EU) will likely maintain sanctions on Russia despite Russian demands for Western sanctions relief as preconditions for a temporary ceasefire with Ukraine in the Black Sea.

Russian forces recently advanced in Kursk Oblast, near Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast.

Ukrainian forces recently advanced in Belgorod Oblast and near Toretsk.

Russia continues to reorganize drone detachments into new units, likely as part of an ongoing effort to establish the Russian Unmanned Systems Force (USF).
