100% truth
Zelensky is desperate and I understand why but if he is having to depend on the Europeans to save him or his country he is in deep trouble.

Germany approves additional €3bn in aid for Ukraine in 2025
Iryna Kutielieva, Yevhen Kizilov — Friday, 21 March 2025, 19:10
The Budget Committee of the German Bundestag has approved the allocation of an additional €3 billion in military aid to Ukraine in 2025, along with a further €8.3 billion between 2026 and 2029.
Source: German press agency dpa with reference to participants of the committee meeting, as reported by European Pravda
Details: Lars Klingbeil, one of the leaders of Germany’s Social Democratic Party (SPD), confirmed the approval, welcoming the committee’s decision.
"Germany is capable of taking action in these times and is assuming responsibility for security in Europe. We continue to stand closely with Ukraine," German TV news channel n-tv quoted him as saying.
Another SPD representative, Andreas Schwarz, said: "This is the right decision and a clear signal to Putin, our allies and Ukraine. Germany can be relied upon, and Ukraine’s fight for freedom deserves our full support."
The additional funds were requested by the Ministry of Defence in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

EU preparing €10 million support package for Ukraine's independent media
Iryna Kutielieva — Friday, 21 March 2025, 16:30
The European Union is preparing a €10 million support package for independent media in Ukraine, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová has announced.
Source: Mathernová on Ukrainian Radio, as reported by European Pravda
Details: Mathernová said that supporting independent media is one of the key areas of European assistance.
The ambassador stated that the EU is currently preparing a €10 million support package for independent media in Ukraine for this year, with €7 million to be provided through EU partners. She added that in May, the EU delegation would announce a €3 million competition for two areas.
Mathernová specified that one of these areas will focus on investigative journalism, while the other will support local and regional media.
Background:
Recently, funding for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty was cut due to US President Donald Trump's decision to reduce the budget of the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM).
Earlier, reports emerged about issues at Voice of America, where journalists were suspended, effectively halting the broadcaster’s operations.

Germany does not have enough personnel to guard military facilities
According to the newspaper, there are not even enough soldiers for guard duty - the Bundeswehr barracks are guarded by private security companies. It notes that the German Ministry of Defence will spend 666 million euros on their payment in 2024, the equivalent of buying more than 200 Leopard tanks.

Two killed, eight injured in Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia
21.03.2025 23:27
Two people were killed and eight others were injured in a Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia late on Friday.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Two people have been killed as a result of enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia," he wrote.
According to Fedorov, the Russians launched more than ten strikes on the city.
"As a result of the attack, residential buildings, private cars, and social infrastructure facilities caught fire. The blast waves and debris also damaged neighboring buildings," the official said.
Earlier reports indicated that a woman's body was recovered from the rubble of a building damaged in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia.

russia has just murdered two people in Zaporizhzhia, one of them a young 20yo woman whose body was recovered from the rubble of her home. Five people have been hospitalized.
Repeating a million times that russia wants peace doesn’t turn wishful thinking into reality.

Yes and Russia knows that. I get the criticism Trump has taken for how we have approached the negotiations; however, I bet you won’t hear the media railing against the Europeans for their show of weakness.

And that goes for some of the hardliners on here also. They also never criticized Biden and his policies that failed. They never admitted it or conveniently choose to forget that.

Ukraine Has Lost Too Many Tanks Near Kursk — Forbes
According to Forbes, Ukraine has lost 55 tanks during the Kursk operation, a significant blow to its armored forces.
“This is bad news for Ukraine,” the report states, “as recent analyses suggest that Kyiv must inflict three times more losses on Russia than it suffers itself in order to weaken Russian forces faster than Russia weakens Ukraine.”
The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed or captured more tanks than Ukraine could afford to lose, further tipping the balance.
The Ukrainian analytical group Frontelligence Insight warns that even a 1:1 loss ratio is a “disadvantageous scenario for Ukraine in a war of attrition, given its smaller initial stockpiles and limited ability to replace lost vehicles.”

ISW Update March 21 2025
quote:
Key Takeaways:
The Kremlin is weaponizing ongoing ceasefire negotiations and deliberately misrepresenting the status and terms of a future ceasefire agreement in order to delay and undermine negotiations for a settlement to the war.
Kremlin officials are leveraging narratives about Ukrainian strikes and combat operations in Russian territory to justify rejecting peace negotiations with Ukraine and continuing the war to a domestic Russian audience.
US Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg stated that US officials will conduct "shuttle diplomacy" to engage bilaterally with both Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Russia continues to strengthen its bilateral relations with North Korea, despite growing warnings from the US against deeper Russian-North Korean cooperation.
Russian officials also continue to deepen ties with the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Ukraine's European allies continue efforts to provide Ukraine with military assistance and bolster Ukraine's defense industrial base (DIB).
Ukrainian forces recently advanced in Belgorod Oblast. Russian forces recently advanced in Sumy Oblast and near Kupyansk, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk.
Ukrainian and Western defense officials estimated that the Russian monthly casualty rate is between 20,000 and 35,000 servicemember

Mike Benz only dealt with internet freedom issues in treaties at the state dept. He seriously has no idea about Russia especially his propaganda view about post Soviet Collapse where he shows he is ignorant as phuck.
For instance, he doesn't know that the WEST funded the collapse oil and gas production to be revitalized. He doesn't know that Western technology has made the oil and gas production and transportation less inefficient. It was basically 100 year old methods pre 1990's but has moved to post WWII in efficiency but not 21st century.
He doesn't know how unproductive Russia's vodka labor force is.
He doesn't acknowledge how Russian companies will not have layoffs but employees often have to wait up to 5 months to be paid their hourly wages.
He doesn;t know that new construction in refining, chemical and oil/gas facilities is mostly performed by imported labor from Eastern Europe nations such as Slovenia and Slovakia, and before 2014 from Ukraine. They actually work competently.
