Show some faith in our president. Do you really think Trump is going to let Europe drag us anywhere?

If you want to go really deep in the weeds, how does it look internationally if this guy everyone said is Hitler comes in and ends a 3 year was in his first 6 months?
The tea leaves are starting to read as if they weren't going to allow Trump to solve this. Either Europe (or a dem aligned with them) does it, or this continues.
And I say that as someone who absolutely supports Trump (generally at least), but I only voted for him in 2024. I went libertarian in '16 and sat out '20.

I have to admit the Europeans are stepping up their game. Putin can’t like this. As a result of his invasion Europe is getting stronger. I hope this peace plan works out better than Trump’s.
What are they going to do when Russia tells them they won't accept European peacekeepers in Ukraine?

The last proposal, they wanted in nato, russia to move out of their new sovereign land, and the world to give them 400 billion to rebuild.
Thats not a peace plan thats extortion

Its splintering Europe.
Putin set out to stop nato and he will end up with that and the EU splitting as dessert.
Have you not seen the elections in Europe, the people are fed up with this globalism nonsense and the leaders continue with it. Their economies are shat, particularly Germany, the largest, immigration is a mess, energy prices, and facing trade tsunami with the US.

Nothing good is coming from the continuation of this war. It has to be stopped now even if it means triggering the pussy leaders in Europe. Ukraine is screwed without our help and so is Europe is something bad went down. Zelensky really should have stayed in Ukraine and let Kellogg do the deal as Trump’s representative and this deal would already be signed, sealed and delivered. Zelensky has to realize that to end this war, Trump has to talk to Putin and all 3 eventually have to talk. If he would have just signed that fricking deal in Kyiv he’d be stress free right now because that would have been 1/2 way to peace in Ukraine. Signing that document then allows Trump to tell Putin that Americans will be in the country mining rare earth minerals so don’t even think about invading again. Ukraine is going time have to give up some land but they still hold the Kursk area so they will probable get some of the land back but not nearly what they had in 2022. The Donetsk and Luhansk areas are very pro Russian so they keep that and some of the land they took but not all. Ukraine won’t have to spend that money rebuilding all those cities and towns and make that be on Russia’s dime. Ukraine would be wise to take the deal, get a ceasefire and then ramp up their defense industry which will help their economy a lot. Ukraine could be the country that all the western countries buy drones from if they wanted to. They have the potential to be largest drone powerhouse in the world.

So Russia wants peace, but no peacekeepers???
Then all the Russian ptopaganda will be exposed. We will see who really wants peace and who really wants the war to continue.

By continuing this war these weak idiots in Europe are playing right into Putin's hands. He will continue fighting and take what he wants.
Without US aid Ukraine will collapse. Trump doesn't want to be associated with that. He can say Look I gave you a path and you rejected it. Now you are own your own. If Ukraine and Europe aren't willing to play ball Trump should 100% disassociate from this now.
Trump needs to make it plain, if Europe continues down this path there will be no Article 5 for them from the US if they are pulled into this war and no security agreements.
This is madness. There is no scenario that exists where Ukraine can reverse the situation.

So what do you believe should happen? A Ukraine surrender????

Do you honestly think that Russia will accept peacekeepers from NATO countries in Ukraine? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of why they fought this war? Russia has said no to this multiple times already.
You people are delusional.

Zelensky should accept the mineral deal. That is his best scenario for keeping US engagement in the future. But that idiot doesn't want peace. Ukraine should get rid of him. If he thinks that those welchers in Europe can save him he will find out the hard way.

I advocated for his resignation.
But after all this how do we get peace?
