Here is the reality.
Trump has been handed a shite sandwich by an incompetent administration whose policy was a total failure.
If he ends this he will be blamed by people like you that he caved to Putin and surrendered.
If he continues this he will be blamed for the defeat when Ukraine totally collapses by people like you. If he chooses this option he might lose his base.
Choose your poison
Even a good deal by most standards will be seen as a failure by the Ukraine-maxers on here

Large fire reported at oil depot in Russia's Saratov Oblast following drone attack
by Dmytro Basmat January 8, 2025 4:05 AM
Editor's note: This is a developing story and is being updated.
A large fire engulfed an oil depot overnight on Jan. 8 in the city of Engels in Saratov Oblast, various Russian Telegram media channels reported.
Saratov Oblast Governor Roman Busargin said that Ukrainian drone debris struck an unspecified "industrial facility" around 5:30 a.m. local time. Russian Telegram channel ASTRA reported, citing resident accounts, that that an oil depot in the city had caught fire.
The Kyiv Independent cannot immediately verify the claims.
Videos circulating on social media appear to show a large fire burning at the oil depot, as Russian air defense attempts to down the reported drones over the city. Residents reported hearing at least five explosions ahead of the fire.

That’s a problem for them and the European countries that leach off the American tax dollar. Russia could carpeted bomb Ukraine into oblivion if they wanted to and Ukraine wouldn’t be able to stop it, and the only thing that would happen is NATO running off at the mouth, and more than a few posters on here doing the same. Evidently, Russia hasn’t learned anything from America’s past few engagements and that’s why Russia is in the position they are now. This was always going to end one way and it’s probably not going to be in Ukraine’s favor. How many more people have to keep dying, and how much more money has to be sent before reality sets in?

Engels is the home of a major heavy bomber base for Russia. There is a tank farm there and I see another close to the Volga River.

Ukraine strikes Russian oil depot supplying fuel to Engels-2 airbase, military confirms
by Martin Fornusek and The Kyiv Independent news desk January 8, 2025 11:05 AM
Ukrainian forces attacked a Russian oil depot in Engels, Saratov Oblast, overnight on Jan. 8, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces said after reports of drone attacks.
The operation, carried out jointly by Ukraine's military intelligence, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and other units, targeted the Kristal Plant used to supply fuel to the nearby Engels-2 airbase, the military said.
The Engels-2 base hosts the 121st Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment, operating Tu-160 bombers, and the 184th Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment with the Tupolev Tu-95 MS planes.
Russia uses these aircraft to launch mass strikes on Ukraine, often resulting in heavy damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties. Ukrainian forces have previously launched drone strikes targeting the airbase itself.

Almost 3 years in and you haven't once advocated for a russian withdrawal, which would terminate the war. Why is this
Posted on 1/8/25 at 10:26 am to MoarKilometers
Because I believe that most of the contested land should be controlled by Russia.
