Biden's policies for Ukraine have been weak and a feckless trickle, trickle, trickle of aid. Well, at least he didn't give them blankets and MRE's and call it a day like Obama did.
That's all Obama did publicly... behind the scenes he provided Ukraine with military aid (or rather, just out of making it a headline pushed at press conferences), despite the GOP talking point that people have accepted as gospel... they were trying to keep Putin on point for the Iran non-nuke deal.
Obama’s White House approved other aid. In total, from 2014 to 2016, the United States committed more than $600 million in security assistance to Ukraine. Under Obama, the federal government started the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which sent other kinds of U.S. military equipment to the country.
Politifact: Ukraine Aid
But I don't want to derail this into another partisan argument...

Possibly. They have the most on earth so, maybe.
So you're saying that Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland are correct in saying that Russia possibly will invade NATO countries regardless of the US nuclear umbrella?

No, not at all. They've saved d an invasion would trigger a nuclear response. Try to keep up

I'm trying to translate what this is trying to say?

You truly are a Russian cock sucker that swallows whatever cum Putin gives you. The M270 was a decoy and Russia has destroyed 2 HIMARS in 2 years. They damaged 2 more by artillery and drone shrapnel but they were repaired in Poland and didn’t even have to go back to the Arkansas where they are made. Ukraine can lose a dozen of these and it wouldn’t matter. They still have 60 M142 or M270 launchers. It’s missiles that they could use more of.

You should really try simply reading the posts in this thread before you post stuff that just embarrasses you.
He openly posts that he believes Ukriane has over 500k KIA and Russia less than 50k....I don't think misstated losses embarrass him unless they are against Russia

And he posts a link and carefully lifts out paragraphs here and there without context,
His article said Ukraine lost four tanks in nine days in Kursk after taking several hundred square miles of Kursk Oblast. He never says how many Russia loses in a week.

Lima loves those blow up dolls.
Also, Oryx was run by Dutch citizen long before Feb 2022. He opted to take a break from the long hours of tedious geolocating and confirming actual losses. Someone else in the OSINT community took over for him. Updates have not been nearly what they were a year or so ago. I really don't care if he got some funding from somewhere as long as the info is accurate, which it actually has been outside of the odd exception now and then.

We already know that Russia has lost at least 4 fully operable tanks (maybe dead batteries or just flat out abandoned out of fear) T-80 and T-90, not T-62's or T-70's
We also have evidence that UKR patrols are able to penetrate and operate rather freely behind Russian lines.

Representatives from BlackRock recently visited Kiev and requested that soldiers no longer be buried in the ground.
They have already bought 47 percent of Ukraine's land.

Ukrainian soldiers took reporters from the Washington Post to Sudzha, where they interviewed Russian civilians. The pics and video are fascinating, as are some of the interactions between Russian civilians and Ukrainian soldiers. This one, for example:

“Let Putin make an agreement with your Zelensky,” said Marina, 57, addressing the Ukrainian forces escorting Post journalists in the town. “We really want some kind of agreement, guys. You’ve come to us, thank you, you’re treating us very well. But you must understand, we want to return to our children, to go home, do you understand? We want things to be resolved in a good way.”
[Ukrainian soldier] Boxer told them about his hometown, shelled and occupied by Russians. He has served in the military since he was 18, when Russia first invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea in 2014. “Well, I think we’re just innocent civilians,” Marina replied.
“I used to think that, too, when we were civilians,” he said back.

ISW Update Aug 18
quote:
Key Takeaways:
Ukrainian forces continued assaults throughout their salient in Kursk Oblast on August 18 and marginally advanced southeast of Sudzha.
The Ukrainian incursion into Kursk Oblast continues to force Russia to redeploy forces from elsewhere in the theater, and likely subsequent phases of fighting within Russia will require more Russian manpower and materiel commitments to the area.
Ukrainian forces struck a Russian oil depot in Rostov Oblast that supplies oil to the Russian military on the night of August 17 to 18.
Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Spokesperson Maria Zakharova denied that Russia planned to engage in reported negotiations with Ukraine and Qatar on a moratorium on strikes against energy infrastructure.
Russian forces recently advanced near Kreminna and Donetsk City. Ukrainian forces regained previously lost positions near Siversk.

Excuse me for being ignorant, but Russia sure has a lot of rules for being an invading country. They start getting their asses kicked and want to set forth "rules". frick that, it's war...

Western allies were also deliberately left in the dark, claims the source. “Syrsky had two previous operations undermined by the West. One was leaked to the Russians, and on another occasion, we were instructed to abort.” Limiting communication to a need-to-know basis enabled the Ukrainians to launch their attack before the Russians grasped what was happening. “They realised something was afoot but likely assumed we would need American approval for such a daring operation.” Having been presented with a fait accompli the West did not object.

Rumors that the 3rd and last bridge across the Seim River in Glushkovsky has been destroyed. If true the Russians on the other side of the river are effectively cut off from resupply unless done by boat.

Yes, that's been posted by Russian military blogger Romanov, who's been reporting in that area and has provided correct info lately.
I honestly think that, for now, Ukraine has simply blown those bridges to protect its left flank. It has a very few men working west, but the important thing was to be able to devote every possible asset to taking Korenevo and pushing north.
Syrskyi knows that Ukraine will get all that territory south of the Sejm River eventually, but actually taking that is not an urgent priority. Blowing the bridges just means that Russia cannot attack the Ukrainian left in any way.
