Russia has got it coming now....the Ukraine Victory is imminent!

Your mocking sarcasm aside, this war has been decided by control--or lack thereof-- of the air.

If Russia established air control two years ago, its army rolls into Kiev in a week with 200 jets circling overhead. And this thing would have been over.

But somehow they fricked it up. Their cruise missiles didn't take out the Ukrainean SAM sites. So they weren't able to run strike packages against Uke artillery positions that had the major highways pre sighted.

Contrary to popular legend, it wasn't so much special forces on SXSs with Javelines that stopped the Russian columns. It was good old fashioned towed soviet era guns with guys yanking on lanyards. The whole Russian plan fell apart when they failed to get air cover for their invasion force.

Now the air balance is shifting from a Russian "advantage" to more like parity as Russia doesn't have the AWACS capabilities to manage strike packages even for the long range lob bomb runs.

Now the UAF has F-16 coming. If things continue on this trajectory, by the summer of 2025 Ukraine could have the opportunity to establish air control of their own. Which would make a successful counter offensive much more likely.

This was unthinkable two years ago.

This doesn't mean Ukraine is about to roll into Moscow. But this war could ultimately be decided by who controls the air. And David has a slingshot.

World isn’t that black and white. We see people suffering here and ask WHY do we give a flying frick about the Ukrainian people? They aren’t our problem or responsibility. This war has proven Russia is incapable of taking over anything close to a powerful nation.

We need the resources utilized here.

You couldn't be more wrong. How the world views the USA has a helluva lot to do with your standard of living IN the USA, but maybe you wouldn't know about that considering your moniker and being a member from this year. If you for a second think that nations are self sufficient isolated go live in North Korea.

So within the last week this troll has spouted outright racist views, issued a half arse apology for them, but only for letting the mask slip, and now tries to speak laughingly about the redeeming qualities of the nazis ( which is even more ironic since his savior Putin is trying to “denazify” Ukraine). FFS can we get a damn mod to keep this fool from spamming this thread with this shite?

s it the truth or is it just your interpretation of the truth? Things are not looking good for Ukraine gaining the upper hand on the battlefield right now. However, that does not mean it will always look so. In March 2022, the "neutral experts and observers" like you and Big Serge said it was just a matter of weeks until Kyiv fell. The Ukrainians not only stopped the Russians from advancing on they sent them fleeing with their tails between their legs. In the summer of 2022, after the fall of Kostyantynivka the "neutral observers" were predicting the Russians would advance up the H20 toward Kramastorsk and Slovyansk. However, the Ukrainians stabilized the line and 18 months later the Russians have not moved any closer to Kramastorsk or Slovyansk. After the fall of Bakhmut last spring, the "neutral observers" believed Russia would advance up the E40 to threaten Slovyansk but it has been almost a year since the fall of Bahkmut and Russia has not advanced any significant distance up the E40. So I have a question for you and the other "neutral observers" what in the f**k makes you think Russia can exploit the capture of Avdiivka? This war has shown time and time Russia again that does not have the military capability to exploit its gains. It also does not have the ability to operate on more than one axis for any particular length of time, and even when focussing on one axis it can only advance a few hundred meters per day. This war is a European version of the Iran-Iraq war. There is no end in sight unless Putin does starts dropping nukes and I do not believe he is crazy, brave, evil, or stupid enough to do that. At least I hope and pray he isn’t. Of course Sir Winston and the other Putin lovers would probably be masturbating in the streets if he did.

I think you need to spend some time listening to Col Douglas MacGregor because I don't think you know as much about the situation or Russia's capabilities as you think you do...

why not listen to an expert in war and foreign intelligence ? He's retired now and doesn't mince words

Plenty of dissents did this, the crazy bitches with vagina hats? Did they serve any time in jail or prison.

Only ones killed were political dissidents, not the cops or politicians.

How many women need to be raped and killed by foreign nationals in the country illegally before we get serious about border security.

I am in NM and women are scared to go to grocery stores and get gas because of the illegals. How many more drug deaths are needed until we close the border?

I am all for supporting Ukraine, I was living in a CIS country when both Georgia and Ukraine were invaded. GWB should have supported Georgia and Hussien should have supported Ukraine in 2014, as both led those countries into war with Russia with NATO expansion fears.

We need to help protect both US citizens here and then support Ukraine.

Why not listen to Tokyo Rose? She knows a lot about stuff that's been hidden from ordinary Americans.

Nope. You should try to get some of the most basic facts correct before you expose yourself as an ignoramus.

So how much in the Border Bill was going to Ukraine vs the 560mil to our Wall Construction?

I think the AWACs claim is wrong, per satellite photos. Ukraine air defenses are seriously compromised, and the tempo of Russian air operations has increased. The Russians were able to drop more than 150 bombs a day in Avdiivka. The Ukrainians can’t hit them when they use their extend range JDAM analogues.

The Ukraine Air Force at this point is gone. They can stage the occasional cruise missile strike, but units in contact aren’t getting air support. And the Russians don’t need to worry about fighter aircraft.

Something has changed. They've lost 10-12 aircraft in the past two weeks.

I agree, and before we spend billions on the climate war, on pork projects, on foreign aid, and yes on Ukraine; we need to secure the citizenry. However, the people we elected have failed to do this.

The problem isn’t Ukraine, we neglected the border years before this major Russian offensive. The problem is the president and Congress are failing us.

Yet another Su-34 bit the dust today. Their air crews have to be absolutely shaken right now. People don’t account for the mental part of war. These pilots have seen many of their friends heave and not make it BTB. That weighs on a man’s mind that he feels like he’s shutting his own coffin when he climbs in the cockpit.

"Kiev was a feint, Russian tanks are going to roll from the Donbas and take the entire country in a short period of time over that flat ground."

Unfortunate from him he must have never looked at a topographical map and seen the ridges with valleys between them that all those tanks would have to cross.

After the bridge at Kherson was blown up, he also said that Russia was going to drive to Odessa and take it. Hell, they couldn't even resupply the troops they had on the other side of the river.

Your IQ has been lowered by believing what he has said.

I've been to NM several times in the last few months, and have seen none of this. Pretty laid back folk is all I've seen. Very friendly and open is what they all have been.
