Wall or not, illegal immigration was very much held in check under Trump.
In check? You are so incredibly full of it.
Illegal border crossings during the Trump administration were higher than they were during either of Obama's terms, and the illegal border crossings during the Obama administration were bad enough that "Build the Wall" was a Trump campaign slogan.
Again, I'm not saying this to attack Trump. I'm just sick of the stupid hypocrisy.
Gentlemen there is a board for that type of discussion. Unless we are discussing illegal Russians crossing the Ukraine-Russia border.

There were less apprehensions bc they stopped coming in such large numbers

Weren't you complaining about being called a Russian troll earlier?

What happened in 2019 that spiked it so much? Were those the caravans organized by Soros?
And those Biden numbers are much lower than the figures Tucker has been using.

Ukrainian crowdfunding campaign raises $7.8 million for sea drone fleet in record 36 hours
by Elsa Court February 23, 2024 11:13 PM
A crowdfunding campaign to raise money to produce maritime drones has raised enough money for 35 naval drones, worth in total Hr. 297,500,000 (over $7.77 million), in a record 36 hours, Ukrainian fundraising platform United24 announced on Feb. 23.
The funds will cover the cost of producing 35 "Sea Baby" drones, "thanks to which the Security Service of Ukraine hit the Crimean Bridge, as well as nine Russian ships," United24 said.

You have no idea what actually goes into training pilots to fly these aircraft and learn tactics and the proper way to fight the aircraft. This almost goes double for their ground crews.
That's true, I have no experience with this. There are just so many political delays that I'm beyond frustrated with this incessant foot dragging.

Hey Pilot,"
What's with all the Hornets and A-10's flying in formator over Baton Rouge today? 3 Hornets and 5 A-10's always in formation. I've seen the Hornets at least 3 times and a friend on the Amite River and Bayou Manchac saw them and the A-10's a few times.

The United States needed stronger leadership, IMO. Biden was just about the worst possible man for this particular job at this particular time.
You tell Putin before the invasion, "If you go in there, we will support whatever opposes you." And then you do it.
And after the Russians lose outside of Kyiv, you boost capacity and give Ukraine what it needs to win, not what it needs to survive.
History will show that Ukraine had a real chance to reclaim most of its land, but it failed to do so because Biden was afraid to fully support them.

Not sure I actually live in Colorado now to be closer to my home base but if I had to guess practicing maneuvers out of NAS JRB on the south shore. Enjoy anytime you get to see the hog in the air, her days are unfortunately numbered.

Putin complains about lack of piercing questions from Tucker Carlson
quote:
Russian President Vladimir Putin says he was surprised by a lack of sharp questions from U.S. television host Tucker Carlson in an interview that made headlines around the world last week.
Putin told a Russian TV interviewer, Pavel Zarubin, that he had wanted Carlson to behave more aggressively, which would have given him the right to reply just as pointedly.
"To be honest, I thought that he would behave aggressively and ask so-called sharp questions. I was not just prepared for this, I wanted it, because it would give me the opportunity to respond in the same way," Putin said in comments broadcast on Wednesday.
In his first interview with an American journalist since before Russia's invasion of Ukraine nearly two years ago, Putin subjected Carlson to a half-hour lecture on history.
He told Zarubin he was surprised that Carlson had not interrupted him more.
"Frankly, I did not get full satisfaction from this interview," Putin said.
The Kremlin said Putin had agreed to the Carlson interview because the approach of the former Fox News host differed from the "one-sided" reporting of the Ukraine conflict by many Western news outlets.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces just shot down a Russian Il-22M.
It’s an airborne command post and radio relay aircraft worth around USD 35 million.
Russia started the war with 12 of them, but now has significantly less of them.

I wonder if it was the same incident as that A50. They often operate together. The IL22 acts as a communications relay for the A5O, which lacks sufficient bandwidth.

It was a terrible interview and Putin knows it
First, Tucker throwing softballs and letting him talk just made it look scripted.
Second, Putin didn’t get a chance to say anything new. It was all stuff we all believed he believed.
Poliboard loved it because they got to rub one out but that’s about it.
