Man, this is depressing. The idea that the Republicans, a party I thought represented me, are ready to abandon our obligations and throw in with the Russians makes me fearful of the world my daughter is going to grow up in.

Well, it's the educated, informed people who can point out Ukraine on a map who care about Ukraine.

I've been to Ukraine several times. They are great people. The rural Ukrainians are the same people as the rural Russians and the city dwelling U are the same as the city dwelling Rs.
The entire thing is a tragedy. A civil war that nobody wants except for Putin and western governments.
Putin cannot and will not back down. So either go all out to beat him as quickly as possible or negotiate peace.
This never ending Afghanistan meat grinder for profit shite that the US is authoring is awful and no one should support it. Hundreds of thousands are dying and millions are suffering for no good reason, and it's infuriating that our politicians continue to put Ukrainian interests over American interests.
