Now get them the Taurus system, and say good-night for the Kerch bridge.

The Russians have no response to these weapons, which will further degrade their armed forces.

LOL

Only war in history where only one side sees their forces degraded.

The Ukrainians aren't getting the Russians out of Ukraine and the Russians won't be going any further into Ukraine.

Frozen conflict, stacking bodies. We have seen many dumb wars but this one here is climbing the charts.

Regularly provided doesn’t mean infinite supply though, I hope the Ukrainians understand this. They can’t fire off ATACMS at the rate they have the regular GMLRS rockets from HIMARS, there just isn’t that many of them. I know people want the full range 300 km ATACMS but honestly I think these 100 mile range cluster munitions can do just as much good, if not more to helping Ukrainian frontline troops. The Russians already had to back their main supply lines and command posts off 50 miles out of conventional HIMARS range but now you double that length which was already a challenge but is now almost impossible to keep their soldiers properly supplied when you’re having to truck ammunition 90-100 miles. The Russians have never been known as a great logistical military and now with ATACMS in play it’s going to be a shitshow for them.

Which is a win for us. It keeps Russia out of NATO.

Generally speaking, the Russians have ALWAYS sucked at warfare. Their 3 best weapons have always been distance, winter, and bodies. If they fought a technological peer of the same size, they'd get their asses handed to them.

Helicopters are high maintenance things on the best of days and this was anything but the best of days for those.

In the October 18th imagery, scorch marks from explosions are evident on the airport apron, confirming the deployment of the previously reported M-39 ATACMS missile with nearly a thousand anti-personnel and anti-material bomblets.

In the short term it seems that way.

You have one nation fighting for survival and another for power and control. How will it end if neither can beat the other to the point that the other will give it up? It won’t.

Many of the nations backing Ukraine know what it’s like to be invaded and put under Russian control so they are helping Ukraine. The others have always feared Russian expansion so they are helping Ukraine. I don’t see this help stopping any time soon although it could be reduced.

Will Russia continue fighting at this level? Will they continue to throw people into Ukraine? Are will they have to ratchet things down?

I see this stalemate continuing.

The whole region is still haunted by the ghosts of Stalin's evil. He murdered and starved to death a large part of Ukraine's population and then implemented a policy of Russification to fill the void he created.

Ukraine will never give up.

It's time for Putin to drop a tactical nuke on Zelensky's head and end it.
It would save thousands of lives, similar to what happened to Japan.
