The key will be to try to die immediately rather than of radiation sickness.
I can remember being a kid in the late 70’s and early 80’s and truly expecting that the world would end in a nuclear war before I ever had a chance to grow up and have a family of my own. I took comfort in the fact that I lived near Lake Charles, which would likely be nuked, and thus I would die quickly from the nuclear blast rather than linger on and die slowly from radiation. That movie that had Jason Robards living in a post-nuclear world really affected me. I wanted no part of that.

Vox Popoli is a guy who would get downvoted to oblivion on the Poli Board for being too much of an alt right crank.

Here's an interesting article from Reuters on Ukranian hacking efforts against Russia. I don't post it thinking that it is a major theater of this war, but rather to ask the question of, at what point does the cyber warfare from all the different players become a real, tangible problem for Russia? In 2022, you have to believe that it will have some impact, but what?

Ukrainian cyber resistance group targets Russian power grid, railways

WASHINGTON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - A Ukrainian cyber guerrilla warfare group plans to launch digital sabotage attacks against critical Russian infrastructure such as railways and the electricity grid, to strike back at Moscow over its invasion, a hacker team coordinator told Reuters.
Officials from Ukraine's defense ministry last week approached Ukrainian businessman and local cybersecurity expert Yegor Aushev to help organize a unit of hackers to defend against Russia, Reuters previously reported.
On Monday, Aushev said he planned to organize hacking attacks that would disrupt any infrastructure that helps bring Russian troops and weapons to his country.

The Ukraine army was part of the Russian army until about 30 years ago. Their generals are probably mostly originally from Russian army. They know the Russian battle plans like the back of their hands. and apparently some Russian Generals are purposely leaking info to the Ukrainians….

Ahhh yeah. When we attacked Iraq because Saudi Arabia attacked us.
I wonder if they have any threads aboot that instead of hijacking the Russky/Ukraine thread?

My friends wife is Ukrainian, born in Kiev, but she's early 20s and from a Russian/Ukrainian family with ties to Moscow. Family on both sides but the ties to Moscow run deep. She's gotten threats/curses on Telegram or Instagram DMs from Ukrainians while living here in the US. Didn't think I'd actually have anything to share about this

If Day's numbers/opinions bear out then the Ukrainian invasion will push aside the 6 Day War and Desert Storm in the US Army War College curriculum.
I have a feeling General Maranian isn't scrambling for funds to reprint the textbooks.

The three countries that were going to give Mig-29's for the Ukranian pilots have taken the offer back. One says they don't have any mechanically sound planes, with no parts to fix them, one says they don't have enough planes to patrol their own skies, and the third said they don't want to get nuked.

What’s the chances we may get some female Ukrainian women refugees here in Texas?

Get used to it. The western powers are going to drop Ukraine like a bad habit as soon as it suits them.

Maybe top 10 in North Korea standards in 91. They didn’t have anything to justify a quality army. Also, armies don’t mean shvt when you don’t have an Air Force against the US.

I don’t think there is support for this war anywhere. Putin obviously misjudged the backlash and quite possibly was blinded by the feckless nature of current American leadership
Careful pointing to how our president potentially contributed to this
