Obviously, some people have different definitions of good and bad. Take Conan the Barbarian for example:

quote:

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

He would probably say that Russia is good.

But most people consider it bad to invade a neighbor, kill their innocent children, and kidnap the ones who survived.

Glad I could help explain that for you.

This is probably Russian prop, but baw should get his down payment in before the lots sell out.

Plans are in place to build a village in the Moscow region for conservative Americans and Canadians, according to a Russian state media outlet.

The Kremlin-backed RIA Novosti news agency on Thursday reported on the community that caters to expatriates with "traditional" values, writing that construction is expected to begin next year.

RIA Novosti quoted Timur Beslangurov—a partner of VISTA Immigration law firm who assists foreign investors in obtaining residency and citizenship in Russia—as saying "about 200 families want to emigrate [to Russia] for ideological reasons."

You're an idiot if you support Russia. There's really nothing else to say.

I've just learned that all of the Ukraine money actually got laundered to Clarence Thomas.

Source.

I really don’t see how anyone can support just giving money to the Ukrainian government. It’s one thing to provide weapons and bullets but why do they need our cash?

Wow. A man created a Russian app called "My Denunciations" so that people could denounce their neighbors to authorities. In the last six months, it received over 1000 denunciations.

The good news is that he created the app as an experiment and has no intention of sharing the denunciations. But, some people here really want to pretend that Russia isn't the same as the USSR -- and it really is.

Because I don’t care who wins a war on the other side of the world that doesn’t involve me or anyone I know or care about?

We are getting OT, but I figured you might be interested in some truth to weed out the fiction

There was an eventual boiler explosion, on the Nashville, but after he was transferred to teach school in St. Louis.

To be sure there were a lot of things never reported by anyone. After school he ended up on a fleet tug in the Bering Strait. They towed a tanker to Seattle after it had broken in half with the stern section still afloat. They dropped the tow before the bar channel and the ship sailed in under its own steam, stern first, for publicity at how courageous the captain and crew were.

WWII era built merchant ships were known for breaking in half due hydrogen embrittlement of the welds.

He also decommissioned a USN weather base on the Kamchatka Peninsula at the very end of the war.

After Germany invaded Poland, he just knew that war was coming so enlisted in the Navy to not have to walk like the draftees in the Army.

My hero but mainly because he didn't need viagra until after the age of 87.

This is just a narrative play and you feel the bad guys are the Russians because someone told you so.

Who told you Russia was the good guys?

I don't need anyone to tell me Russia is bad for me to believe Russia is bad. You must be too young to know history. Russia is bad, Russia has been bad for a very long time.

And as another poster said, If Russia is good because you said, then you must be right.

Our education system is failing, you are just another example of that.

If that was true then you would not have been posting in this thread for 18 months. You either care about the war and support one of the sides over the other and just do not want to admit, or you are one of those peoples that likes to argue about stuff that does not matter to you so you have a reason be annoying to others. Either way makes you a miserable idiot.

Such an immature take. I think it’s an interesting world event so I follow it. My life, nor the lives of 99.99999999% of Americans will not be affected regardless of who wins the war though.

That's a debatable point considering the geopolitical stakes. There will be all kinds or consequences flowing from this war. Some predictable, some not.
