It appears the Ukrainian offensive is beginning to yield fruit. That leads to two questions:

1. How far can they go?
2. How will Russia react?

“Makarivka was deoccupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine” - Malyar

??In the direction of Bakhmut in the area of ??the Berkhiv Reservoir. ZSU advanced 250 m. ??In the south, there is an advance in two directions from 300 to 1500 meters.

Man the maps on Twitter are changing significantly every hour at this point. Seeing maps now showing ukraine past makarivka.

Rybar now saying because of weather, air support and drones are difficult, so tactical retreat.

Armed Forces of Ukraine liberate Makarivka and advance on several fronts – Deputy Defence Minister
KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO — Sunday, 11 June 2023, 20:42

The Ukrainian military liberated the settlement of Makarivka in Donetsk Oblast near the recently de-occupied Blahodatne, as well as advanced on the Bakhmut front and in the south.

Source: Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defence, on Telegram

Quote: "The fronts in which the offensive is carried out:

On the Bakhmut front, our troops continue offensive actions. There is success in the area of the Berkhivka reservoir. We proceeded 250 metres.

In the south there is progress on 2 fronts from 300 to 1,500 metres. The settlements of Blahodatne and Makarivka were de-occupied.

Not a single position was lost on the fronts where our troops are on the defensive."

Earlier: On Sunday, soldiers from the Oleksa Dovbush 68th Separate Ranger Brigade and other units of Ukraine’s defence forces liberated the village of Blahodatne in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast.

Honestly Ukraine’s best asset right now might be the weather. They can operate much easier with their mechanized units as long as the ground can support it with it raining and there will be very little drone activity to worry about. It hurts that we can’t spot for our own artillery easily with drones also but neither can they and Ukraine’s howitzers are much more accurate than Russia’s is. Perfect time to break out some Excalibur shells on targets of opportunity while they have them on their heels a bit.

According to a spokesperson for the #Ukrainian military in the Tavria region, #Russia blew up a dam in Novodarivka, in the Zaporizhzhya region to prevent a Ukrainian breakthrough

It looks like he's tried to improvise an antipersonnel round. Props for creativity, not sure how well it works. At least it didn't blow up on him.

Looks like an improvised anti drone weapon.
Ukrainians seem to be pretty innovative.

??In Bakhmut, for every 48 centimeters of the conquered positions, one Russian serviceman is killed or wounded.
This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter.
"Ukraine continues to fight" - the ministry writes.

The "Russian Volunteer Corps" announced that it had handed over to Russia the servicemen captured in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod region.

Earlier, Russian and Ukrainian authorities announced an exchange of prisoners. Kyiv received 95 people, including two officers, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Yermak wrote. Ninety-four prisoners of war returned to Russia, the Defense Ministry said.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Settlements of Makarivka and Blahodatne in the Donetsk Region were Liberated today by the 68th Jaeger Brigade with only “Limited Fighting” occurring due to the Withdrawal of Russian Forces from the Area.

So I'm catching up a bit, since I was locked out of my map for a 3-4 days.

But if I got this right, Ukraine liberated an area about the size of Bakhmut in about 1 week. That is not including the Tokmak or Bakhmut directions.

There is less or almost no confirmed progress on the Tokmak axis.

In both the above directions, UA forces have attacked in areas where there is a little bit of buffer between the frontline and the new Russian fortified lines.

There is slight progress in the Bakhmut direction, the confirmed progress is much less than made to believe when reading reports from semi and un-official social media accounts.

There is slight progress on the Kreminna axis too. Just a few hundred meters.
