Amid the AFU's activation in several sectors of the front, events in Kherson fell out of the spotlight. In the past few days, active fighting has been going on in the Dachi area and the islands near Kherson - Ukrainian formations already have a stable foothold on some of them.
The AFU are firing indiscriminately at the positions of the 80th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces with large-caliber mortars and artillery. Target designation is provided by Bayraktar copters and drones from Dolgintsevo and Voznesensk airfields.
??In the Dnieper basin, the number of speedboats has increased. Just yesterday, two boats with a landing force were destroyed near the island of Kruglik, which were trying to land on the shore with a swoop.
In addition, the other day, two small Metal Shark and Galaxy boats were delivered to Kherson, along with two groups from SOCOM "South", which may indicate preparations for more active operations near Kherson.
Also, detachments of Georgian mercenaries were deployed to the Shirokaya Balka-Kizomys line. And at the Ternovsky and Shirokiy Lan training grounds, the 21, 22 and 38th brigades are there. The 37th brigade is already participating in the battles in the Vremivka sector.
??Distracting attention and stretching Russian troops along the front is the main task of the AFU at this stage of the ongoing offensive. And local attempts to force the Dnieper fit into this plan.

Belhorod is the correct Ukrainian spelling. Belgorod is the language of the Muscovite colonizers.
