BREAKING: Moscow says countries sending military equipment to Ukraine will be responsible if they are used against Russian forces

Per a reporter on Fox News….
Russia Parliament is working on legislation that states that any journalist that writes a "fake" story on war will face 15 years in jail.
If I heard correctly…

I’ve been pretty vocal that we stay out of this shite save for providing them intel. Go listen to John Bolton if you want to hear an actual warmonger.
i will give you credit you have and when you are sober...you are ok. when you drink you go al john bolton
and i do agree with you but i do think we should be providing intellegence and allowing europe to freely give weapons if they want to.
i alos dont beleive we should be in nato and we should kick the UN out of the country and leave the org.
I do think Nato should and could be a very good thing against russian aggression just like i think a Pacific rim alliance between asain countries would be a good thing to counter chinese aggression.
i just dont think the US should be apart of either other than arms development and sales at most as our involvement has caused a sugar daddy effect to take place.
now....frick russia and frick putin. i hope those fricks die in a fire. I really hope that the ukrainians are able to sneak spec ops in and destroy most of the kremlin and kill most of the inner circle.

This Ukrainian sailor is brilliant because Mijeev can't collect on his insurance money because of the sanctions.

last thing they fricking want to do is get any nato country involved. this isnt the summer of 1941. they would lose air superiority immediately and those convoys would be gone within 5 days. complete and utter destruction.
want to know what the war would look like...go read the dragon and the bear, except this time we are cutting the head off the bear, not helping them.
russian people are good people and deserve better, but they didnt stand up do to decades of abuses and they will suffer greatly at the hands of putin.
and the threat of nuclear missles is just that a threat. they will not do it imo.
and frankyl i htink they have less than 10 legit working icbms. if that. sorry they dont have the money nor the ability to keep them functional.
we are seeing exactly what we figured out after the fall of the Soviet union.....russia is a paper tiger. they do not have the ability to project, nor have the ability to maintain any equipment.
we would destroy them almost as fast as we did the iraqis except we would not make the mistake of allowing terrorist to gain control of the government.

You are listening to Putin and taking his words as proof of his motives. This isn't about the Russian heritage of some of the regions of Ukraine, at least VERY little. This isn't really even about NATO on his doorstep or narrowing the army accessible land avenue into the European Plain farther back toward the Fulda gap. It is about oil/gas and water. It is about making Russia a larger petrostate. They want the rest of the offshore gas fields they didn't get when they took Crimea. They want the shale oil reserves in Eastern and Western Ukraine. They want the pipelines that run from Russia across central Ukraine and to avoid paying tariffs, even though they have built multiple pipelines to avoid them already like the multiple Nord Stream pipelines that go around the north and south of Ukraine. It is about opening the water back up from the Dnipro river to Crimea through the North Crimean Canal. Not so much because he gives a frick about the Crimean people but because Sevastopol is there and it is the only military port Russia has that is ice-free year-round. Putin suckered a lot of people in with his rambling Russian history lesson and appeal to reunite ethnic Russians with their motherland. He got even more talking about the what-if of how we would feel with missiles in Cuba, Mexico, or Canada. Oh, I say and I say it again, ya been had! Ya been took! Ya been hoodwinked! Bamboozled! Led astray! Run amok! The real reason Russia invaded a sovereign country was money. Liquid and gaseous dinosaur bones (algae but it isn't as poetic) and that other liquid gold called water. He is just a thug thief in an ill-fitting (track) suit he just hides his gold chains on his wrists as watches. He isn't fricking Moses shepherding his people he is just an armed robber intent on stealing Ukraine and their riches. Applaud him for that if you are going to applaud.

Maybe someone could run down to the nearest gas station, pick up a few cartons of cigarettes, some vodka, and some Ding-Dong's so they have the energy to maybe give peace talks a 10-hour day?
I knew one federal judge who when a big case was being negotiated would lock both sides in the courtroom and send in a bottle of Scotch. Was a successful method too.

They’re now claiming the Ghost of Kiev has shot down 14 planes, and I don’t buy that for a second.
Then, strap into a Russian Mig and do a few turns over Kiev and find out.

I agree. Well stated.
It is apparent that Ukraine seems to have come to the realization that they can be an independent player in Europe without Russia.
Or maybe more accurately, they can be a player only if they can do it independently of Russia.

See, that’s what I had been wondering.
I can’t believe their Cold War arsenal is fully functional. That shite cost big bucks.
I suspect (like you) they may have a few operational. That’s it. Now, that is a big gamble but I also have to believe Washington knows fully well.

Then why is it the poorest country in Europe with a president begging for aid from the world?

Decades of Russian kleptocracy and now his country is being invaded? Just spit balling here but that combination seems the likely cause.

I want you to be right, but man, that's a dangerous assumption to make. Surely our intelligence would know?
But yeah, a full-fledged NATO attack would mop the floor against Russia - ignoring nuclear threats.
Posted on 2/28/22 at 2:46 pm to lsu777
Yup.. The perception that the Russian military being something to fear is gone. If NATO wanted to end this, they could in a couple of days.
Problem with someone like Putin in charge, you can’t be so sure he wouldn’t use nukes as a last resort to save face.

Is this the previous farmer's brother?
For what it is worth, I guess this could be a Ukranian vehicle, but I still love that tractors are being used to move these things around.
