Massive wave of missiles going at Ukraine right now. I guess the mullahs came through with their deliveries.

Back in the late 90's Alanis Morissette wrote a song applicable to the Griner situation.

Zelenskyy also proposed a 10-step peace plan, which includes the following:

Radiation and nuclear safety
Food security
Energy security
Release of prisoners and deportees
Implementation of the UN Charter
Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities
Justice
Ecocide and the protection of the environment
Prevention of escalation
Confirmation of the end of the war
Chief among Zelenskyy's requests was for G20 leaders to use their power to "make Russia abandon nuclear threats" and to implement a price cap on energy imported from Moscow.

He also called for an "all for all" prisoner swap with Russia, saying: "Thousands of our people — military and civilians — are in Russian captivity. We must release all these people … we must unite for the sake of the only realistic model of the release of prisoners — 'all for all.'"

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not attend the event, sending his foreign minister Sergei Lavrov instead.

Zelenskyy mocked Putin's absence in his speech, repeatedly addressing the leaders as the "G19."

His address comes after Moscow ordered a withdrawal of troops from Kherson — the largest city that was occupied by Russian forces since the start of the invasion in February.

It marked one of the most significant setbacks for Putin in the Ukraine war so far.

Zelenskyy visited the city on Monday, where he promised jubilant residents that Ukraine would reclaim control of all of its occupied territories.

In his speech to the G20, Zelenskyy accused Russia of turning the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant into a radioactive bomb that can explode at any moment.

He also said that Russia was trying to turn the cold into a weapon against millions of Ukrainians, having destroyed about 40% of the country's energy infrastructure through air strikes.

The only bad feelings I have about Griner come from her supporters that act like this is some racial issue.

She really fricked up (it’s fully on her) and the timing couldn’t have been worse. Russia don’t give a shite about their own people much less a lesbian American. I personally would never travel to an anti-American country so when Americans choose to do so and get in trouble I don’t have much sympathy for them.

From the Russians' perspective, it's a good case to work American political divisions because they understand our social resentments and this provides them with a good and easy wedge to work between American wokes & anti-wokes. We should keep our eye on the ball that no matter how the case started, it's now being used as a political prosecution for propaganda theater to have an deliberate effect on American political discourse and we should all treat it as such.

There was nothing inherently unsafe about traveling to Russia. I have quarterly for three years or so before this year.

Just know their laws and don't do stupid shite. It really was that easy.

Ukraine may get their no-fly zone after all.

That’s the next logical step of escalation if Russia can’t be trusted to not randomly lob missiles into NATO.

In a later statement outside the BBN headquarters, he said that there was a crisis situation in Poland, but he would provide more information after the committee meeting.

The media published information about the accident in Przewodów in the Hrubieszów district, which is located near the border with Ukraine. Interia learned that two people were killed there, and that there are services and representatives of the military on the spot. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.

- I am going to the place, but at the same time we are checking whether it was not a random event - Lech Sprawka, the voivode of Lublin, told Interia.
