I don’t know what that dipshit will say but if Russia loses Kherson before mid December I’ll be willing to say that it’s over for Russia, baring some other major event in the war of course. Like a successful Russian advance from Belarus or something. If Russia can hold onto Kherson through the winter then this thing isn’t over.

Even if Russia were to abandon the right bank of the Dnepr it would be a major embarrassment and tactical defeat but the territory has very little real strategic significance for Russia. The only thing Yougayne could do that would actually seriously threaten Russsia’s territorial claims in the area would be a successful offensive in Zaporixia which again Yougayne has demonstrated it is not capable of achieving. But this is all hypothetical because again, I repeat, Russia will hold its sovereign territory in Xerson City region. If Yougayne could take it, it would have by now. Yougayne continues to grow weaker, while the forces of the Russian Federation grow stronger. Yougayne had a window of opportunity to bring a successful counteroffensive in Xerson region but, for reasons I don't fully understand, it waited too long. It’s all over now but the cryin.

They also said that the reason for the silence from Ukraine was that Zelensky wants this war over and the Ukrainians believe that Putin’s support has eroded enough that believe he couldn’t survive an invasion of Russia. Zelensky was wanting to invade the Belgorod oblast, but talked out of it.

I don’t believe that part about an invasion of Belgorod because my sauce(s) have given me misinformation before, and it could likely get Ukraine nuked. However, Russia has been building up its defenses Belgorod area. So they believed it.

Yep. It makes sense for Ukraine to push to the dam first. Russia won't blow it now and trap some 20,000 troops on the Ukrainian side. Kherson city can wait until after that.

Until Ukraine finds a way to stop the cruise missiles and drones whatever they do on the battlefield front is for nothing. Yes, they are making advances, but the cities and power structure elsewhere are being destroyed.
