Fair enough- I’m wondering what a Crimea solution looks like. Reparations and Hague war crime trials et al. Will have to include trials of commanders down to privates, there is a theory that the reason so many high ranking military folks are dead is because Putin wants no witnesses and he intends to blame dead people for his orders.

If there is to be a negotiated peace, I’m afraid Putin’s extradition to The Hague will have to be off the table.

Putin will either die 1) by old age or disease or 2) Ukrainian assassination if the war continues long enough.

Putin deserves to be hanged, but he will probably die comfortably. Perhaps The Hague can prosecute him in absentia? I dunno. But it’s not like he has to step foot outside of Russia for any reason.

It also works in the other direction. E.g., the "biolabs" narrative started within Q-influencer network in the early weeks of the full-scale invasion and the Russians picked this up and echoed it

NATO, bio labs, Nazis, etc. Throw out 10 and whichever sticks, hammer home.

There's a point where "Russian disinformation network" and "Q-influence network" merge.

Russia is all about creating chaos. That's why they heavily invested in promoting Leftist causes in 2016

Exactly, they created and/or amplified all sorts of divisive rhetoric, causes, and groups across the politics per their active measures routine, but as a poster rightly mentioned earlier, when certain highly-concrete events are happening (like getting your arse kicked on a battlefield), the veil slips...

I have long believed that Q is a psyop by either Russia, China, or even possibly the Democrats. I haven't yet seen anything to indicate it isn't.

I don't think so. It's a product of chan culture. It's opportunistically exploited by those foreign adversaries, though.

If the dems hate it, why would it be them? The left can’t even meme, so that rules them out.

This, but also by domestic interests as well.

Rybar on the strikes (Bolding added by me)

Literally Terrorism

https://twitter.com/rybar_en/status/1579474911219044352
quote:

This morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched a series of strikes across Ukraine. Some of the missiles were aimed at structures in the center of Kyiv, and thermal power plants located in the city.

At this time it is reliably known that the following facilities were hit:
+ SBU headquarters at 33 Volodymyrska Street,
+ TPP-3 and 110kV Vokzalna substation,
+ Darnytska TPP,
+ TPP-5 at Vydubichi,
+ TPP-6 in the east,
+ EU Advisory Mission HQ near Volodymyrska Gorka Park.

According to some reports, the German Consulate was also damaged. Buildings of National Taras Shevchenko University also sustained damage.

At the same time, symbolic objects of Ukrainian power which can be reasonably called "decision-making centers" were undamaged:

- Office of the President: 50.444582, 30.529045
- Cabinet of Ministers: 50.447852, 30.533679
- The Verkhovna Rada: 50.447270, 30.536823
- The Ministry of Defence and AFU General Staff: 50.442961, 30.479182

As we've written before, to create a prolonged panic among the population, to lower the morale and psychological state of the AFU and to win on the battlefield, such actions must be repeated. To prevent the enemy from recovering and restoring damaged critical infrastructure.

Russians reload warships with Kalibr missiles and prepare for new air strikes
— Monday, 10 October 2022, 17:09

Vitalii Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, has reported that the Russian occupiers have reloaded their warships in the Black Sea with Kalibr high-precision missiles and are getting their long-range aircraft in Astrakhan ready for new strikes on Ukraine.

Source: Vitalii Kim on Telegram

Quote: "The warships are being sent to the Black Sea again. They’ve reloaded them with Kalibrs. And all these [aviation] groups are preparing to take off from Astrakhan."

Details: Vitalii Kim urged people not to ignore the air-raid sirens.

He said Russia may continue its strikes on Ukraine.

If you remember, the Russians responded to the early September losses of territory in Kharkiv Oblast with a flurry of cruise missile attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. It had minimal lasting effect and it seems to have been done in order to blunt the propaganda value of the Ukrainians' advance. If the Russians can't sustain these latest attacks beyond this flurry, then we're probably seeing the same thing.

@maryilyushina Breaking: Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin agreed to deploy a joint regional group of troops. Belarus allowed Russia to use its territory as staging ground but claimed it's not sending troops. May change now.

Not clear yet where the group will operate but Lukashenko said "once the threat level reaches the current one we begin to use the grouping of Union State forces. The formation of this group has begun, it's been going on, I think, for two days.:

We've been speculating if/when Belarus officially joins the war perhaps they will soon? The Belarusian border guards have said that Ukraine has blown bridges and mined the roads crossing into Belarus and Luka is claiming Ukraine and NATO are planning a potential invasion. Getting talking point lined up to justify a preemptive strike perhaps?

The Russian's ability to lie and spin is gaining legendary status in this war.
Blowing bridges and deploying minefields is a defensive maneuver, not a foreshadowing of offensive operations.

It's hard to say. Making noise that something is going to happen to the north could be used to fix more Ukrainian forces that might other be deployed at the front and we've heard this periodically since the war started. If Putin feels more desperate to appease his nationalist critics, he may want to call in his chips with Luka, but it may not be worth it because a color revolution in Belarus isn't something he could manage at the moment.

Certainly. Blowing up bridges to invade a nation seems counter productive, but I didn’t attend West Point.

The number of cruise missile attacks has greatly dropped over the last few months as they reached the limit of available missiles. It looks like they have decided to dig into the war stocks they've been holding back in case of war with NATO.
