British Defence Intelligence UPDATE ON UKRAINE 9 August 2022 Certainly supports the reports that the Russian military is punched out and no longer has enough combat strength to advance. I guess the question now is whether Ukraine’s military is also punched out.

Ukraine’s veteran military is not punched out, but they are tired and all have sustained significant losses. However, Ukraine, unlike Russia has reserves of new troops coming out of training. Since the number of new troops is way more than their loses Ukraine can’t just stick replacement troops into existing units and keep fighting. It’s having to perform the tricky task of taking experienced officers and NCOs off the frontline to get the newbs ready for combat while at the same time not allow a break through. At the same time, Ukraine’s strategy of hitting the Russians where they aren’t has caused Russia to strengthen Kherson but also presented new options for attack. It appears like Ukraine is trying to decide if it should continue its slow grinding attack on Kherson or shift focus to a weaker spot on the line of defense.

So basically Russia is standing on the defensive along most of the line because it is stretched to the breaking point and it’s having to shuffle its limited combat power to where the enemy is. Ukraine on the other hand is standing still for the most part while it strengthens itself and probes Russia’s lines to find the best spot to push through.

However, IF The Mexican government were using people that idolize Nazis to perpetrate a genocidal act against Americans living in Mexico, while being funded by the Chinese...

So it’s not the corruption, it’s the Nazis. Gotcha. I should have known.

But you are the same guy who thought Obama put Zelensky in office so I know you are weak in timing and timelines. Could you be confusing the Nazis and the Commies?

How difficult should it be to see a missile coming in on all of this video? I don’t know how these look coming in from these long range videos. Any thoughts?
If the film is at night and the camera is on ahead of time, you can see what looks like a meteor flashing downwards. I think the Russians call it a vinyl pucker asteroid.

In any case, some Russians like Medvedev are blind to the facts -

all in broad daylight

I saw a clip of a German 155 blazing away in the middle of a field during the day, all crew and support vehicles right out there in the open.

Maybe careless but not this late in the conflict. I dont think they were worried about a response.

What a ringing endorsement of the anti-Ukraine crowd’s intellectual firepower.

Actually, a big chunk of the regular posters IIT are indeed veterans.

It's amazing the prose concocted by these I'm assuming grown men on this board. Quite grade/high schoolish actually.

You then listed corruption as one of the two reasons.

When children try to get involved in political discussions, this is the kind of mastery you get

Everyone who disagrees with US involvement in Ukraine is pro putin, and anti ukraine

Man, what a simplistic view of the world.

My assumption was that quite a few posters itt had served as well.

I know that I did, during the Cold War, when our adversary was known as the USSR.

I have no love for Russia or Putin.

Quite the opposite actually.

Naked eye, it can be challenging in my very limited experience.

It would have to be something like a CCTV camera that was recording continuously or someone just being lucky and pointing in the right direction at the right time.

Same for the impact of the missiles. There might or might not be a prominent explosion depending upon what was used.

Obviously, something caused a low level event that produced the first smoke that was recorded. This got the attention of people with cameras and they recorded the subsequent explosions of the ammo that we see.

That’s a good question, a fair question, and it’s confusing.

We keep hearing numbers, but some are repeated over and over. Some herd had it at 40 billion per month, but I know that was bogus.

I think a good accounting from a reliable source could clear the air.
