According to you, they are going to win. Are their security concerns satisfied as of this moment? Do they still have major war goals? Give me some tangible reasons as to why they should consider peace. They've expended resources but that doesn't matter with respect to their end goal, as you state they are going to win. Again, what situation would actually make Russia consider a lasting peace? Describe it for me.

This thread is a complete dumpster fire. Endless shite flinging with a post or 2 of actual information sprinkled in.

Happens about every other week when that crowd gets bored with the PT. It’s highly annoying but I’ve started just focusing on about 6-7 posters in scrolling when it happens.

Most of them are the exact thing they rail against on the PT board. Two sides of the same coin.

Yeah, Magastan and Wokeistan. Both are creepy echo chambers with zero original thought. It's impossible to have a rational conversation with either.

You are the kinda guy that gets home from work and finds a dude rubbin' his nuts on your favorite chair after spending the afternoon eating your steak, drinking your best Scotch, and railing your wife and says "we can work this out peacefully, I will just hang a hammock in the back corner of the yard and if you give me access to an extension cord, water hose, and don't change the Wi-Fi password we are all good".

If the hits on the bridge were at a rifle or pistol range. they would be a very nice grouping with 8 hits within a diameter of 50 feet. For rocket or artillery, that seems to be a grouping consistent with all 8 shots being in the forehead or heart of a silhouette

That's why this forum is fun. On the OT I usually get called a conservative trumpkin. On the poliboard, I'm team wokeistan.

The outlier is this thread, where even though it's the OT, I'm supposedly a Biden loving progressive.

I wonder how many HIMARS missiles Nato has in inventory?

Yea, that clear view of the terminal phase is what caught my eye.

His partner pushing that engine to get out of there was just a bonus.

Nobody buys this effort for you to cast yourself as a reasonable person on political matters.
You are not as wacko as the most extreme on the poli board.
Congrats, for whatever that means.

This is cringe even for you. So far you and your compatriots have fantasized about homosexuals and now being cucks. We’re beyond projection at this point and I’m just going to assume you’re too embarrassed to admit what you are.

All in defense of your position on Ukraine

He asked if Russia had reason to consider peace. Anyone with a hint of fricking objectivity would agree that yes, they have reason to consider peace. Of course that and any sense of nuance doesn’t exist here and any day now Zelensky and the boys will show those incompetent Russians who’s boss.

What would Finland have to gain by doing this?

I haven't been following the conversation around Finland and Sweden joining NATO, has there been some talk of Finland backing out?

Who is missing the nuance here? Also there is a vast difference from 'considering' peace and actually agreeing to it. Apparently you think states in the international realm do things without good reason. One of the other pro-Russian posters, LW, already posted quotes from Putin which suggest that Russia is willing to do what it takes to achieve its war aims, regardless of the cost. I'm asking a very specific question, since you should be able to answer considering your 'objectivity' and understanding of 'nuance.' Again, if Russia is winning the war, and will always win despite what Ukraine can do, what incentive do they have to even negotiate in good-faith?
