No roses in this scenario.

32 HIMARS and 200 M1A2 MBTs and three Uke divisions could take back Mariupol in a week.

There are all sorts of rosy scenarios. They just take a commitment of existing resources and technology. Once that decision is made the outcome is pure math.

LOL. This could have been over 2 months ago without Western intervention motivated to service the American MIC and financial kickbacks to the political elite.

This is obviously going to turn into a never ending slush fund just like Afghanistan was, yall are the retards too blind to see it.

BTW your beloved Western Democracies have slow-murdered Julian Assange over the course of the last 10 years for having then gall to tell us what was going on, and you talk about Putin as if we're better. GTFO.

You really don't get it. This is turning into exactly what the US wanted. Which is a protracted conflict which will drain and eventually destroy Russia financially, politically, and militarily. They're our enemy you knitwitt.

We could have ended this thing in March by either 1) backing off and letting Russia win or 2) intervening and wiping the Russian army off the face of the earth.

But that would have made Putin either the Victor or the Victim. And we don't want either of those outcomes.

We want Putin -- and Russia by extension-- weak and anemic and paralyzed by political strife, instability, and a spiraling economy.

You see the current scenario as a disaster and can't understand why we're so stupid. We see the current scenario as a wet dream. And we can't figure out why you're so stupid.

I love CircleK's takes. He's a field baw. He's hands on equipment but also military intelligence.

OK, Cheney. Just continue to celebrate it as we bleed the strategic reserve dry, pay record high gas prices, and experience major food shortages.

A country that can build up and plan for an invasion of a poor neighbouring country for 3 years and not even come close to achieving their objective is not capable of being our true enemy.

How the frick are you all so stupid?

I'm doing that ironically. They actually want a prolonged war that damages the middle class and working poor in their own country to "hurt Putin". They are insane.

See your previous post on the same page:

Ukraine might not have much chance of retaking the Donbas, but they’re a hell of a lot less likely to lose Kyiv today than they were when this invasion started. Western intervention has played and continues to play a huge part.
