It supports the idea that the retreat was a trap.
If so, it seems like the Russians are finally getting some competent battlefield tactical commands.

The Ukrainians have (reportedly) stopped using their Turkish drones for strike missions. They’re defenseless against air defense systems.
All drones are defenseless against air defense systems. There may be one or two out there that have some defenses but those are definitely not get sent to Ukraine. Drones in general are designed to provide long endurance surveillance with a limited strike capability over uncontested airspace.

It has everything to do with the narrative of the war (Putin is Hitler, Zelenskyy is Churchill) that the usual suspects (Western leaders, big tech, MSM, corporate America, celebrities, etc) are pushing with the same intensity that they pushed the Orange Man Bad and COVID and vaccine and third world African migration narratives and now trans everything - even for kindergartners.

Then form your own conclusions then… don’t mindlessly take a side based on how certain media outlets and politicians react.

Initially I didn't. Enough red flags have emerged by now that I've become part of the chorus trying to check rational people who are still blue pilled on this conflict.

Not even close. Some irrelevant courtcase between two celebrities was enough to push the war out of the headlines.

Went jogging in Portland last night and LOL'd at the number of Ukraine flags amongst the newly updated super duper WOKE pride flags with like 34 things going on (nobody flies a plain rainbow flag anymore LOL) and BLM placards.
Bunch of virtue signaling idiots supporting Ukraine - pretty sure they're all the ones still wearing masks and waiting for the go ahead to get their 4th Pfizer vaccine as well. It's just off - I agree with these people on literally nothing except maybe Thai food and sparkling water.
Clearly people supporting Ukraine means Ukraine is bad. I don't know how you don't understand this gigantic red flag!

There main argument centers around Zelensky is corrupt and there are actual NAZIs in Ukraine.
Be that as it may, I hold the history of the USSR, the Russian people and Vladimir Putin up for scrutiny and laugh at the insinuation that the Ukrainians are anywhere near the Russians in corruption and vileness. Putin is former KGB disgusting Piece of human garbage.
Even if they are Near the Russians in "red flags" there is no way they exceeded them. Why pull for the Russians? It's simply the reverse of OMB. No actual thought involved. it's just a reaction to the Biden's cozy relationship with Ukraine.
Disgusting.

My post about the Grey Eagle drone was factual and zero percent opinion. All I did was explain the capabilities of the aircraft. It happens to be my area of expertise. I fly manned reconnaissance aircraft as a contractor for the military and have flown drones very similar to the grey eagle in the past in the Middle East.
You may very well be the most qualified person in this thread to opine on particular drones and their capabilities and their potential impact on the battlefield, however, you absolutely stated an opinion in the second half of your post. I don't know how you can see that outside of considering your opinions and being fact.

Stalin v Hitler
Commie leader v Nazi leader
Was there a real difference?

Are you just upset that the Ukrainians are getting rocket systems that can outreach them Russian models? Or is it that they can’t use their big scary Russian armor that they always talk about and flaunt in parades because they know all it takes is a soldier with a shoulder fired missile to destroy it and the Ukrainians have a shitload of them between all the countries that have contributed. Now Poland and Slovakia are sending more heavy artillery of their own as well to help even the odds. My question to you is this. Since you a clear Putin supporter, how much death is enough to appease one man’s vanity before he dies? It’s just about fully clear Putin is dying wether it’s cancer or some other way but he’s not acting with his head, he’s playing war games with his heart hoping to see the old Soviet Union back together before he kicks the bucket. You can actually support this?

These Turkish drones are actually using Israeli technology sold to Turkey in 2008

It seems shocking it needs to be said but the USSR was simply a miserable, dreadful force on the world stage that stifled basic human dignity everywhere it held power. Putin’s Russia is a continuation of that and is currently leveling the cities and infrastructure of Ukraine, destroying a large chunk of the world’s food supply and deporting Ukrainians into Russia for no rational or strategic reason.
You’ve always had the useful idiots on the left like Bernie Sanders who extol the humanity and culture of the soviets and their ilk. Seeing a large section of the right turn agnostic towards or even openly embrace the Putins of the world leaves little doubt in my mind the worst of the 20th century will repeat itself.

While BDS plays a part, it precedes Biden. There's a cohort that admires Putin and Russia. They crave a strong leader and Putin does a good job of selling that with his horseback riding, judo black belt schtick. They see the west as decadent and weak, while Russia harkens back to traditional family values. Nevermind that Russia has one of the highest abortion rates in the world and the Russian army is carrying actual Soviet flags into battle.

There’s a much larger cohort who believes this straw-man circle-jerk fantasy is anything but a small minority of people.
The truth is that some people are making the low-IQ mistake(it’s ok they have low iq I guess it can’t be helped?) of conflating not sucking neo-con/NWO dick for Putin-idolatry.

Actually, he has been much more measured in the tenor of his posts for the last several days. I for one think we should all try it. Including you.

That was cool. They shipped the drones for free and asked that the payment value be used for humanitarian aid instead. That's pretty cool.
