Run off a golddigger?

Wow. Sounds very familiar with my ongoing situation. The "text" to the mistress with all the love BS. You also mentioned the memory lapse which I lost my mom to dementia a few years ago. He has since moved on with his "new" family...eye opening to say the least!

He has needs that weren't being filled at home, cut him some slack.

Plenty of older wealthy men have side women. Some for many, many years. Very common and I wouldn't tell your mom

Find out who she is and then tell her to meet you at Sonic.

There’s an old Opelousas saying: He May be a short man, but he looks a lot taller sitting on his wallet.

Have him committed before that bitch steals your inheritance!

You judgemental frick. She recently found out her dad is cheating on her mom. Her dad is 68 years old and they have been married for 50 years. The worst thing she could have done was act out emotionally and went to her mom and told her, but instead she did the right thing by giving her dad a chance to tell her.
He is the one who is cheating so he should be the one who tells her and they should be there when he does especially if she is emotionally fragile.
And no matter what, her son still has a good relationship with his grandfather. You are the selfish one. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to and it goes beyond how you feel. People frick up. That's not an excuse for someone to do so, but it's life. You have to look at things from the outside looking in and see assess the whole situation and figure out the best way to handle it.
So what....she should be told NOW

Some of you people are so simple. It's so easy to make blanket judgements on other people you don't even know and situations you read a few words about on a message board. The view must be nice from that ivory tower.
And some of you are fricking retards....all this loser is worried about is the money..she basically says it....her dad is not cute, but has riches...calling the lady a gold digger....she only cares about what he'll leave her....IF she loves her mother, she'll tell her immediately...if not, she is enabling her dads behavior.
Sorry it doesn't fit with you clowns wanting to appease the gold digger child

I wouldn't ruin a 50 year marriage, but that's just me. I'd talk to my dad and grill him to get his side, but ultimately, you have to realize your dad didn't start doing this when you found out about it.
You're likely a grown arse woman, so you've realized the full usefulness of your parents' marriage, as cold as that sounds. Running to your mom would cause a lot of stress on some old hearts.

You are afraid he will leave her all your...er, I mean, his money.
Let the old man get some on the side. You getting upity will only drive him away from your mom and closer to his girlfriend.

Was she suckin his cock and balls? If yes then you're right, otherwise your dad rocks and should have done damage control by telling you it was just an emotional texting affair to shut your bitch arse up.

How old was your mother when they got married if dad was 18? It’s very possible she was fricking Roy Moore before the marriage and the recent allegations sparked lost resentment so he starts to frick around.
